Upload the rich-menu-details-icons folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
Go to Appearance > Menus to start adding icons
Configure global settings under Appearance > Menu Icons

How do I add icons to my menu?: Go to Appearance > Menus, click on any menu item, check “Enable Icon & Subtext”, and:
– Click “Browse Icons” to search and choose a Font Awesome 6 icon visually, OR
– Click “Media Library” to choose any image or SVG file from your WordPress media library, OR
– Paste SVG code directly into the icon text field.
Can I use custom SVG icons or Images?: Yes! You can select SVG or standard image files natively from your WordPress Media Library, or paste SVG code. This ensures complete compatibility with security plugins like Wordfence while offering you total flexibility.
Will this work with Elementor?: Yes! The plugin uses specific HTML markup that ensures Elementor does not accidentally strip or hijack your menu icons. It will render perfectly inside Elementor nav menus.
Will this work with my theme?: Yes, the plugin is designed to work with any WordPress theme.
Does this affect performance?: The plugin is extremely lightweight. Global options are pre-cached and Font Awesome can be disabled from CDN if your theme already loads it.
Can I disable icons globally?: Yes, go to Appearance > Menu Icons and uncheck “Enable icons and subtext globally”.
Does it support RTL languages?: Yes, full RTL support is included.
What icon libraries are supported?: Font Awesome 6 is supported out of the box. You can also use custom SVG icons.
