Configuration & Usage

Configuring and using PlexBlocks – CTA Section for Block Editor is quick and intuitive:

1. Adding the Block: Open any post or page in the block editor. Click the + block inserter icon, search for CTA Section, and select it (located in the PlexBlocks category). You can also type /cta in a new block line.
2. Selecting a Design Preset: In the block inspector panel on the right sidebar, open the Content tab and choose a design preset (Spotlight, Editorial, Dark, or App Promo).
3. Choosing a Layout: Select your preferred layout format:
   • Split: Displays copy on one side and showcase media on the other.
   • Centered: Centers copy and action buttons.
   • Banner: Creates a compact inline banner for quick callouts.
   • App Stack: Formats copy and media for app promo sections.
4. Editing Copy & Details: Customize the text fields directly in the sidebar:
   • Eyebrow / Badge: Set a small pre-heading tag (e.g., “New Feature” or “Limited Offer”).
   • Heading & Body Text: Craft your main value proposition and body text.
   • Supporting Text: Add secondary context or pricing notes.
   • Feature List: Enter key highlights or trust points, one item per line.
5. Setting Up Action Buttons: Under the Actions tab:
   • Configure Primary Button Label, Primary Button URL, and toggle whether to open in a new tab.
   • Configure optional Secondary Button Label, Secondary Button URL, and target settings.
6. Adding Media: Under the Media tab:
   • Upload or select an image from your Media Library.
   • Choose a media shape (Rounded, Device Frame, or Circle) and set alt text.
7. Customizing Styles: Under the Style tab:
   • Fine-tune visual appearance with controls for Card Background, Border Color, Text Color, Accent Color, Muted Color, Border Radius, Padding, Content Gap, and Max Width.
