Description
Accept payments from Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT), Cash EBT, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Debit, Credit. The gateway can process split payments using any combination of payment type and process partial refunds and full refunds which meet the USDA/FNS’s requirements for accepting EBT payments.
The Pay Now Direct plugin includes the required secure Pin Pad, which pops up on the checkout. Also, the receipt the remaining EBT balance is displayed, per requirements.
The plugin allows merchants to make products eligible for SNAP EBT by checking a box next to product description in WooCommerce and thus merchants can maintain their own inventory and user can checkout with a mixed cart of SNAP eligible and ineligible items (i.e. delivery and shipping costs).
The cart is sub-totaled by SNAP EBT eligible and Total, taxable, delivery/shipping. The checkout is similar, but the users may pay with any amount combination i.e. no SNAP EBT or 100% EBT or split payment
The plugin supports the following transaction types: authorize only, capture, voiding, and refunding.It supports storing cards on file as well using tokenization and works with the WooCommerce.
