OpusDev Food Structured Data is a simple SEO plugin built for food websites, WooCommerce stores, recipe blogs, local shops and producers.

The plugin helps you add food-focused JSON-LD structured data to WooCommerce products, recipes, producers and local food businesses. It is designed to be simple, lightweight and useful for organic food stores, local producers, recipe blogs, small shops and food ecommerce websites.

Important: this plugin does not issue, validate, or guarantee any certification. Certification and designation fields must be used only for products that are officially certified or legally entitled to use those claims.

External services

This plugin does not automatically send user or site data to external services.

The editor includes optional links that the administrator can click manually:

  • Google Rich Results Test, used to test the public URL of a page.
  • Opus Dev PRO product page, used to view the commercial PRO version.

No automatic external API call is made by the plugin.

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin ZIP from Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
  2. Activate the plugin.
  3. Go to OpusDev Food Structured Data.
  4. Configure the general modules.
  5. Edit a WooCommerce product, post or page and fill in the OpusDev Food Structured Data fields.

FAQ

Does this plugin require WooCommerce?

No. WooCommerce is required only for the product schema features. Recipe and local food business schema can work on standard WordPress posts and pages.

Does this plugin guarantee rich results in Google?

No. The plugin generates structured data, but search engines decide whether and when to show rich results.

Does this plugin certify products as DOP, IGP, STG or GLOBALG.A.P.?

No. The plugin does not issue, validate or guarantee certifications. Certification-related fields must be used only for products that are officially certified or legally entitled to use those claims.

Is the plugin GPL compatible?

Yes. The plugin is released under GPLv2 or later.
