Ghostonix Mail SMTP

Description

Ghostonix Mail SMTP helps WordPress and WooCommerce site owners replace the default WordPress sender identity with a professional sender such as noreply@yourdomain.com, orders@yourdomain.com, or support@yourdomain.com.

The plugin can force the From Name, From Email, and Reply-To headers for outgoing site emails. SMTP delivery is optional. If SMTP is enabled, the plugin routes mail through the SMTP server configured by the site owner.

Core features:

  • Force From Name and From Email.
  • Optional Reply-To Name and Reply-To Email.
  • Optional SMTP host, port, encryption, username, and password.
  • Test email tool.
  • Local sent/failed email logs.
  • WooCommerce-compatible sender control.
  • Password storage with encryption when OpenSSL is available.

This plugin does not provide a hosted email delivery service. It does not generate DNS records, CNAME records, DKIM records, SPF records, or DMARC records. DNS authentication is handled by the email provider or domain/email host used by the site owner.

If SMTP is enabled, your WordPress site connects directly to the SMTP server you configure, such as your email host or transactional email provider. Ghostonix Mail SMTP does not send email content, SMTP settings, SMTP credentials, or local mail logs to Ghostonix servers.

Ghostonix Mail SMTP includes optional upgrade/account functionality powered by the Freemius SDK. Freemius may be used for license activation, paid upgrades, software updates, account management, and opt-in telemetry. Freemius is contacted only when a site owner chooses an account, license, update, opt-in, or upgrade action. When a site owner chooses to opt in, activate a license, or purchase/upgrade, selected site, admin, plugin, license, and payment-related data may be sent to Freemius according to Freemius policies.

Privacy

Ghostonix Mail SMTP stores plugin settings and local email logs in your WordPress database. Logs may include recipient email addresses, email subjects, sender details, timestamps, and delivery status. The plugin does not transmit email content, SMTP settings, SMTP credentials, or local mail logs to Ghostonix servers.

If you enable SMTP, your site will connect to the SMTP server you configure. The privacy and terms of that SMTP provider apply to email sent through that provider.

Optional upgrade, license, account, update, and opt-in telemetry functionality is powered by Freemius. Freemius is contacted only when a site owner chooses an account, license, update, opt-in, or upgrade action. Freemius may collect selected site, admin, plugin, license, and payment-related data when a site owner opts in, activates a license, or purchases/upgrades. See the Freemius Terms of Service and Privacy Policy linked above.
