FXOapps Instant Search for Woocommerce adds a fast product autocomplete search box to your store. Shoppers see matching products as they type, and you control search scope, suggestion layout, mobile behavior, and styling from wp-admin.
This WordPress.org release includes a complete core search experience without a license or external account.

Merchant setup
After activation, open FXOapps Instant Search Settings and configure:
- Starting — copy the shortcode or template snippet for your theme
- Search bar — placeholder, minimum characters, styles, layout, and colors
- Autocomplete — suggestion limit, labels, and product display toggles
- Search config — enable search, debounce, and search scope
- Analytics — review top search phrases and tune your catalog
Installation
- Install and activate WooCommerce.
- Upload the plugin folder to
/wp-content/plugins/. - Activate FXOapps Instant Search for Woocommerce through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
- Go to FXOapps Instant Search Settings and configure search scope and appearance.
- Add the shortcode to your theme header, widget area, or a page.

Does this plugin require a license or external account?

No. This release works without a license key, subscription, or fxoapps.com account.

Is there a PRO version?

Yes. FXOapps Instant Search PRO for Woocommerce is a separate commercial plugin with advanced indexing, synonyms, fuzzy matching, category/tag/brand results, add-to-cart from search, merchandising, and licensed updates. See Settings Pro features in wp-admin or Upgrade to PRO. PRO is not required for core instant search.

Does the plugin call external services?

No. This release does not phone home, send telemetry, or contact a license server. Search requests run on your WordPress site.

Can I customize the search box styling?

Yes. Use the Search bar settings tab for built-in styles, layouts, and colors. For additional CSS, use Appearance Customize Additional CSS in WordPress.
