Installation
- Upload the plugin files to
/wp-content/plugins/cartcure-ghost-recovery, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
- Ensure WooCommerce is installed and active.
- Visit Revenue Recovery Settings to configure abandonment thresholds and recovery email timing.

Does this plugin require WooCommerce?

Yes. CartCure Ghost Recovery is a WooCommerce extension and will not function without it.

Will this slow down my store?

Cart tracking runs on existing WooCommerce cart hooks and writes a single lightweight database row per change. Recovery email sending and abandonment detection run in the background via WP-Cron, not on customer-facing page loads.

Is there a paid version?

Not currently. All features described above are free with no limits.

Does this collect personal data?

The plugin stores cart contents and, when available, the customer’s email address, solely to enable cart recovery. This data is automatically deleted after the retention period configured in Settings (90 days by default). No data is sent to any third-party service.
