Description
Blogient is a content automation service (blogient.com) that regularly produces SEO-friendly blog posts for your brand. This free plugin is a secure connector between your Blogient account and your WordPress site: posts created in Blogient are delivered to your site as real, native WordPress posts, complete with a featured image, category and SEO meta.
The plugin does not generate content on its own. Content generation runs on your Blogient subscription at blogient.com. The connector function is always active; it never stops working after a trial period or a quota.

- One-click connection: paste the connection code from your Blogient dashboard. No application password required.
- Native publishing: posts become standard WordPress posts (post type: post), so your theme and menus apply as usual.
- Featured image, category/tags and internal links are added automatically.
- SEO meta: the title and description are filled in a way compatible with Yoast SEO and Rank Math.
- Scheduling: future-dated posts are scheduled and published at the right time.
- Idempotent: if the same post is sent again, it updates instead of creating a duplicate.
- Secure: content is signed by Blogient with HMAC-SHA256 and verified on your site.

External service
This plugin connects to an external service, blogient.com, to receive and publish AI-generated blog content. On connection, your site URL and REST publish endpoint (/wp-json/blogient/v1/publish) are sent to Blogient; article content is sent back to your site over HTTPS, signed with HMAC-SHA256. A paid Blogient subscription is required for content generation.

Installation
- Install and activate the plugin. (Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin to upload the .zip, or search for “Blogient” in the plugin directory.)
- Open Blogient from the left menu.
- In your Blogient dashboard (Settings > WordPress), create a connection code.
- Paste the code and click Connect to Blogient. When you see “Connected”, setup is complete.
Note: to show posts in your blog listing, set a “Posts page” under Settings > Reading in WordPress.

Do I need a Blogient subscription?

Yes. The plugin is free; content generation runs on your Blogient subscription (blogient.com).

Do I need to provide an application password?

No. The connection is established with a one-time connection code; a secret key generated on your site is used for signed verification.

Where are the posts published?

Posts are published as standard WordPress posts: on their own permalink and on your blog/posts page. For the blog page, set Settings > Reading > “Posts page”.

I use an SEO plugin other than Yoast or Rank Math.

The title and description are filled automatically for Yoast SEO and Rank Math. If you use a different SEO plugin, let us know at info@blogient.com.

How do I disconnect?

Use “Disconnect” on the Blogient screen. After that, new posts are no longer sent to your site.

Is my data safe?
