Description
Aliquindoi Popup lets you create elegant, fully configurable popups from the WordPress admin.
Main features:
- Modal mode or folded side tab.
- 9 on-screen positions (center, corners, full-width bars and sides).
- 7 entrance animations and 3 exit animations.
- Customizable accent color.
- Configurable widths and optional dark background.
- Automatic close after X seconds.
- Configurable anti-repeat cookie.
- Lead capture form (email, or name + email) stored in your own database, with CSV export.
- Conversion tracking (CTA clicks and form submissions) with conversion rate.
- A/B testing: pair two popups and split the traffic to compare which converts better.
- Ready-made templates (welcome, newsletter, offer, notice, lead magnet, event).
- Display targeting by URL, post type, device and dates.
- Advanced triggers: exit-intent and scroll percentage.
- View statistics with a chart.
- Live preview in the editor.
- Optional block-editor block: insert a button that opens a popup, or force a popup to show on a page.
Works with any editor. Popups are printed in the site footer and configured from the plugin’s own admin panel, so the plugin works the same with the block editor, the Classic Editor or any page builder. The block editor is only needed for the optional block.
All data stays on your own server. The plugin does not call any external service or API.

FAQ
-
Is any data lost when the plugin is deactivated?
-
No. Deactivating the plugin does not delete anything: your popups and statistics are kept. Full removal happens only when you delete the plugin.
-
What happens when the plugin is deleted?
-
When deleted, it removes its own tables and options so it leaves no residue behind.
-
Does it send any data to external services?
-
No. Everything is stored in your own WordPress database. There are no external calls, APIs or trackers.
-
Do I need the block editor (Gutenberg) to use the plugin?
-
No. The plugin works fully with the Classic Editor or any page builder (such as Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, etc.). Popups are printed in the site footer on every page and are configured entirely from the plugin’s own admin panel, so they never depend on which editor builds your pages.
-
Which features work without the block editor?
-
All the core features: showing popups, triggers (on load, on click, exit-intent and scroll), targeting (by URL, post type, device and dates), lead capture with CSV export, conversion tracking and A/B testing, and the ready-made templates. None of them require the block editor.
-
What is the only block-editor-specific feature, and how do I replace it?
-
Only the optional “Aliquindoi Popup” block is exclusive to the block editor. It lets you insert a button that opens a popup, or force a popup on a specific page. If you use the Classic Editor or a page builder you can achieve the same results without it: use URL targeting to force a popup on a specific page (like the block’s automatic mode), and use the “on click” trigger with a CSS selector to open a popup from any existing button in your builder (like the block’s button mode).

Changelog
1.10.2
- Update: bundled Chart.js library updated to 4.5.1 (latest stable).
1.10.1
- Fix: uninstalling the plugin now also removes the leads table, so no personal data (subscriber names and emails) is left behind in the database.
1.10.0
- New: Gutenberg block “Aliquindoi Popup”. Insert a button that opens a chosen popup, or use automatic mode to force a popup on the current page.
- New: ready-made templates. Start a popup from six presets (welcome, newsletter, offer, notice, lead magnet, event) that prefill the form.
1.9.0
- New: conversion tracking. CTA clicks and form submissions are recorded as conversions, with a conversion-rate badge and a daily views-vs-conversions chart.
- New: A/B testing. Pair any popup with a second one as its B variant and split the traffic with an adjustable ratio; each variant keeps its own stats so you can see which converts better.
1.7.0
- New: lead capture. Turn any popup into a subscription form (email, or name + email).
- New: leads are stored in your own database — no external service is contacted.
- New: “Leads” admin screen to browse captured subscribers, filter by popup and export them to CSV.
- New: customizable success message and duplicate-email protection per popup.
1.6.0
- New: exit-intent trigger — show the popup when the visitor is about to leave the page (desktop only).
- New: scroll trigger — show the popup after the visitor scrolls past a chosen percentage of the page.
- Both advanced triggers work alongside the existing load/click triggers and respect the anti-repeat cookie.
1.5.0
- New: display targeting. Choose where and when each popup appears — whole site, home page only, specific URLs (with wildcard support), or everywhere except certain URLs.
- New: target by post type (posts, pages, custom types).
- New: target by device (all, desktop only, mobile only).
- New: optional campaign scheduling with start and end dates.
1.4.1
- Renamed the internal code prefix to “aliqpop” (tables, hooks, nonces, CSS classes and localized JS objects) to avoid conflicts with other plugins and meet the WordPress.org prefix requirement. Existing popups and statistics are migrated automatically.
- Author information and readme updated (readme now in English).
- Deactivation no longer touches caches or transients from other plugins.
- Coding-standards and security pass: escaped all frontend output and documented direct database access.
1.4.0
- Added configurable accent color and live preview.
- Added position modes, animations and folded side tab.
1.2.0
- Initial version.
