TwinCart License Key Management is for stores that sell software, plugins and other digital products. It creates unique license keys in the format you choose and keeps all of them in one list in your WordPress admin.
Features
- Generators: define what your license keys look like, with your own character map, number of chunks, chunk length, separator, prefix and suffix.
- Optional validity for each generator: keys expire a set number of days after they are generated.
- Generate up to 500 license keys at a time. Every key is unique.
- Add license keys you already have by hand, with an optional expiry date.
- One list of all license keys, with search, sorting, a copy button for each key and the expiry date (expired keys are marked).
- Delete license keys you no longer need.
- Keys are created on your server with a secure random number generator. No external service is used and no data leaves your site.

Installation
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/twincart-license-key-managementdirectory, or install the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
- Go to License Keys -> Generators and add a generator.
- Go to License Keys -> All license keys, click “Generate license keys”, select the generator and the amount.

Does this plugin require WooCommerce?

Yes. WooCommerce must be installed and active for this plugin to work.

Who can use the plugin?

Administrators and shop managers (users with the “manage_woocommerce” capability).

Can two license keys be the same?

No. Every key is unique. If a generator cannot create enough new keys, for example because it uses very few characters, the plugin tells you how many keys were generated. Add more characters or longer chunks to the generator to create more.

What happens to the license keys when I delete a generator?

They are kept. In the list they are shown as created by a deleted generator.

Does changing a generator change the keys it already created?

No. The new settings are used only for keys generated from then on.

What happens to my data when I delete the plugin?

The license keys, the generators and the plugin’s database tables are deleted. Deactivating the plugin keeps them.
