Description
Stacklar Forms adds a form builder to the block editor. Each form is a set of field blocks that you add, arrange and style like any other block. You then place the form on any page or post with its shortcode, such as [stacklar id="123"].
Fields
Text, Name, Email, Phone, URL, Number, Textarea, Select, Radio, Checkbox, Acceptance, Hidden, Section, HTML and Submit.
The Phone field shows a country picker with dial codes.
After a submission
Stacklar Forms emails each submission. You choose the recipients, subject, message and Reply-To address; {{all_fields}} in the message lists every submitted field, and {{your_field_name}} inserts a single one. You can also set the success and error messages shown on the form.
Submissions are sent by email only; they are not stored on your site.
Spam protection
Forms come with a hidden honeypot field and a minimum time before they can be sent, both on by default, plus an optional per-visitor rate limit. They run on your own server: Stacklar Forms does not load scripts from, or send data to, any outside service.
Stacklar Forms Pro
Stacklar Forms Pro adds more fields, multi-step forms, conditional logic, stored entries, payments and integrations. It uses the same forms, so you can switch at any time: activate Stacklar Forms Pro and Stacklar Forms steps aside.
Source code
The plugin ships the unminified JavaScript and styles in the src/ folder. The build/ folder is generated from them with npm ci && npm run build (webpack through @wordpress/scripts; see package.json and webpack.config.js).

FAQ
-
Where do submissions go?
-
To the email recipients set in the form’s Submit block. Stacklar Forms does not keep a copy on your site, so make sure your site can send email (an SMTP plugin helps if messages do not arrive).
-
Does Stacklar Forms contact outside services?
-
No. All fields, scripts and spam checks run on your site.
-
Can I use it together with Stacklar Forms Pro?
-
Yes. While Stacklar Forms Pro is active, Stacklar Forms does nothing and your forms keep working in Stacklar Forms Pro. Deleting either plugin keeps your forms while the other one is installed.
