Nerakon Customs Identifier Manager

Description

Nerakon Customs Identifier Manager is a local-first catalogue readiness tool for WooCommerce merchants who may sell or ship physical goods from outside the EU to EU consumers.

It is intended for merchants whose sales and import-declaration workflows may fall within the relevant EU distance-sale requirements. Applicability depends on the merchant’s products, dispatch route, sale value and declaration process; the plugin does not assume that every WooCommerce shop is affected.

It checks supported local WooCommerce data for:

  • SKU as a merchant identifier candidate.
  • A plugin-specific manufacturer model or part identifier.
  • WooCommerce Global Unique ID as a standardised identifier candidate.
  • An explicit declaration that no standardised identifier exists.
  • WooCommerce customs or HS commodity code.
  • WooCommerce country of origin.

The dashboard includes counts, percentages, issue filters, search, pagination, direct product-edit links and a basic CSV export. Products and variations can be repaired individually using WooCommerce’s normal editor.

This plugin does not submit customs declarations, calculate duties, classify tariffs or determine legal applicability. A Ready result means only that the fields checked by this plugin are complete. It is not official EU software, legal advice, certification, a guarantee of compliance or a guarantee of customs clearance. Check applicability with your customs or carrier adviser.

Privacy

The plugin performs normal scanning and storage locally inside WordPress and WooCommerce. It contains no telemetry, tracking, SaaS connection, account requirement, licence server or runtime cloud dependency. CSV exports are generated locally for an authorised administrator.

FAQ

Does Ready mean my product is legally compliant?

No. Ready means only that the local fields checked by this plugin are complete according to its documented readiness rules.

Does the plugin send catalogue or customer data anywhere?

No. Normal scanning, storage and CSV export run locally in WordPress. There is no telemetry, tracking, account, licence server or remote API dependency.

Does the plugin create or submit customs declarations?

No. The CSV is a generic local data export and is not guaranteed to be accepted by any carrier or customs system.

What happens if WooCommerce is inactive?

The plugin remains safe to activate and shows an explanatory notice. Catalogue scanning and product fields become available when WooCommerce is active.

What data is removed on uninstall?

Plugin settings are removed. Merchant-entered manufacturer identifiers and no-standard-identifier declarations are preserved to avoid accidental catalogue data loss.
