Description
Fördercheck shows homeowners in Germany within two minutes how much public funding they can expect for renovating their house. It implements the German federal funding rules (BEG) in force since 21 July 2026:
- Heating replacement grant KfW 458: base grant, income-based bonus and climate speed bonus, including the half-yearly reductions from February 2027
- BAFA individual measures for insulation, windows and doors, with the renovation roadmap (iSFP) bonus and the doubled cost cap
- Comparison with the income tax reduction under § 35c EStG
- Notes on deadlines, cost caps and requirements (energy efficiency expert, contract with condition precedent)
Add it to any page with the shortcode [foerdercheck]. Works with the block editor, Elementor and common themes.
The calculator’s interface is in German, as the funding programmes only apply to buildings in Germany.
Privacy friendly: the calculator runs entirely in the visitor’s browser. It loads no external scripts or fonts, sets no cookies and sends no data anywhere.
Fördercheck Pro
For energy consultants there is a Pro version with an enquiry form: visitors send their result and key data directly to you. More at s-energies.de.

Installation
- Install and activate the plugin.
- Add the shortcode
[foerdercheck]to a page (Elementor: use the “Shortcode” widget). - Optional: under Settings Fördercheck, set the accent colour and a link to your contact page.
