aThemeArt AI Sales Notifications for WooCommerce shows live sales popups on your storefront using real WooCommerce orders only.
When a customer completes (or processes) an order, other visitors can see a short, privacy-friendly notification such as “James from London purchased Product X.” Names and locations come from the actual order billing data — nothing is fabricated.

Third-Party Services
This plugin optionally uses third-party AI services to help generate message templates in the admin area. These services are completely optional and only used when the site administrator enables the AI Engine and provides their own API key.
What data is sent:
Only the prompt text written by the administrator (or the default system prompt used for message generation) is sent to the selected AI provider. No customer order data, personal information, store visitor data, or any other site data is ever sent to any AI service.
When data is sent:
Only when an administrator clicks the “Generate with AI” button in the plugin settings (Messages / AI Engine tab).

- xAI (Grok) – Privacy Policy / Terms of Service
- Anthropic (Claude) – Privacy Policy / Terms of Service

The free version of this plugin only uses AI to help write message templates. Live sales notifications always use real WooCommerce order data from your store.

Installation
- Upload the
athemeart-sales-notifications-for-woocommercefolder to/wp-content/plugins/, or install via the WordPress plugins screen. - Activate the plugin (WooCommerce must be installed and active).
- Go to AI Sales Notify Settings and configure General, Design, Messages, Real Orders, and (optionally) the AI Engine.
- Ensure Use Real Orders is enabled and that your store has recent orders matching the selected statuses.

Does it work with free WooCommerce?

Yes.

Does it show fake or virtual orders?

No. This free version only displays real WooCommerce orders. Virtual orders are available in the separate Pro plugin only.

Do I need an AI API key?

No. AI is optional and only helps generate message templates. Notifications still use real order data.

Will it slow down my site?

No. Notifications load via AJAX after the page has rendered.

Is customer privacy respected?

Only the billing first name and city/state/country from the order are used in messages. Full addresses and emails are not shown.
