Description
Quoted a repair? Finished a custom job? Need a deposit? Create a payment request at the price you set, send the customer one secure link, and they land in your WooCommerce checkout with the job already in the cart. No throwaway products, no editing prices for each customer, no invoices from another service.
We built this for our own repair shop, where it runs every day.
How it works
- Go to WooCommerce > Pay Links > New payment request.
- Find the customer by name, email, phone, company or order number, or type a guest’s name and email.
- Describe the job, add optional formatted details, and enter the amount.
- Copy the link and send it by text, email or chat.
- The customer pays with any payment method your store already offers. The request is marked Paid and linked to the order.
Features
- Secure links: the price is stored on your site, never in the link, so customers can’t change it
- Fast customer search (name, email, phone, company, order number)
- Works for registered customers and guests
- Formatted details (line breaks, bold, lists, links) shown in the cart, checkout, order and order emails
- Automatic tracking: Paid, Cancelled and Refunded; failed or cancelled orders reopen the request
- Cancel, reopen or issue a fresh link at any time
- Private notes for your records
- Taxes follow your normal WooCommerce rules; the item is virtual, so no shipping is added
- HPOS and Cart/Checkout blocks compatible
- No external requests, no tracking
Full version
The full version adds branded payment link emails, a floating pay button for logged-in customers, a “Payments due” tab in My Account, customer-paid shipping, link expiry dates and custom item names. Your payment requests carry over when you upgrade.
Installation
- Install and activate the plugin. WooCommerce must be active.
- Go to WooCommerce > Pay Links and click “New payment request”.
The plugin creates one hidden product called “Repair / Service” that carries payments through checkout. It is hidden from your shop and can’t be added to the cart without a payment link.
FAQ
-
Can a customer change the price?
-
No. The link only holds a random token. The amount is looked up on your site when the customer opens the link.
-
Which payment methods work?
-
Any payment method your WooCommerce checkout already offers.
-
Will it charge shipping?
-
No. The item is virtual, so include any shipping in the amount. The full version can add your normal shipping rates at checkout instead.
-
What happens if the order fails or is cancelled?
-
The request reopens automatically, so the same link can be paid again.
-
What happens when I upgrade to the full version?
-
Activate the full version and the Lite version switches itself off. Your payment requests, settings and links keep working.
