Selling through sales representatives? AovUp Sales Agents for WooCommerce connects each customer to an agent, credits the agent with that customer’s orders and calculates their commission automatically.
Free features
- Sales agent role. Give staff or partners the “Sales agent” role to make them agents.
- Assign customers to agents on the customer’s profile, or many at once from the Users list.
- Referral links. Every agent gets a link. Customers who come through it and then register or order are assigned to that agent.
- Default agent for new customers and guest orders without a referral.
- Commission on every order. A store-wide rate with an optional rate per agent. Commission is calculated on products after discounts, without tax, shipping and fees, and refunds are taken off automatically.
- You choose which order statuses count (for example Processing and Completed).
- Agent on the order. See and change the agent on the order screen, and in a “Sales agent” column on the orders list.
- Agent dashboard in My Account. Agents see their referral link, their earnings this month, last month and all time, their customers and their customers’ recent orders.
- Commission report under WooCommerce > Sales agents, for this month, last month, this year or all time.
- Works with the classic checkout, the Checkout block and High-Performance Order Storage.
Everything above is free, without limits or time restrictions, and the plugin doesn’t contact any outside service.

Installation
- Install and activate WooCommerce.
- Install AovUp Sales Agents for WooCommerce from Plugins > Add New, or upload the zip, then activate it.
- Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Sales agents to set the commission rate, the default agent and referral links.
- Give users the “Sales agent” role (Users > Edit user > Role).
- Assign customers to agents on their profile, or select customers in the Users list and use “Assign sales agent”.

How is the commission calculated?

Rate x (line item totals after discounts, without tax, shipping and fees, minus refunded amounts). The rate is the agent’s own rate if you set one, otherwise the store-wide rate. The rate is saved on the order, so changing it later doesn’t change past orders.

When does an order count?

When its status is one of the statuses you choose in the settings (Processing and Completed by default). Agents see orders with other statuses marked “not counted yet”.

How do referral links work?

A link like https://your-store.example/?sales-agent=CODE stores the agent’s code in a first-party cookie for the number of days you choose. If the visitor then creates an account or places an order, they are assigned to that agent. You can rename the link parameter.

Can a customer have more than one agent?

No. Each customer has one agent. You can change it at any time; orders keep the agent they were placed with unless you change it on the order.

Does the plugin pay agents?

No, it calculates commissions. Payouts and earnings tracking are part of AovUp B2B Sales Agents, the paid version.

Privacy

The referral cookie (aovup_saf_ref) holds only the agent’s referral code. Agents see the names, email addresses and orders of the customers assigned to them. Nothing is sent to an outside service.
