Disfora

Description

Disfora replaces WordPress comments with a fast, moderated comment section: replies, ratings, votes, mentions, notifications and Google sign-in for your readers. Add polls and forms anywhere with a shortcode or the Disfora block.

1. Go to Settings → Disfora and click “Connect with Disfora”.
2. Sign in (or create a free account). If your domain already belongs to one of your Disfora sites, confirm it; otherwise create a site for it.
3. That’s it. Comments show where your theme shows WordPress comments.

Choose which post types use Disfora under Settings → Disfora, and switch a single page back to WordPress comments from the Disfora box in the editor sidebar.

• [disfora_poll id="POLL_ID"]: a poll
• [disfora_form id="FORM_ID"]: a form

Find a poll’s or form’s ID in your Disfora dashboard; pasting the code from its “Copy embed” button as the id works too. In the block editor, add the “Disfora” block and pick what to show instead.

Moderation, styling, polls, forms and page rules live in your Disfora dashboard.

External service

This plugin loads the Disfora widget from https://disfora.com on your site’s pages and sends your readers’ comments, ratings, votes and form submissions to Disfora. Connecting sends your site’s address to Disfora so it can be allowed for your account.
