DevnDespro SafeDelete helps you understand which content may be affected before deleting a WordPress page.
When you move a page to Trash, SafeDelete checks other posts and pages for direct links to that page. It shows the results in a review window so you can make a more informed decision.
Features include:
- Review references before moving a page to Trash.
- Check multiple selected pages before bulk deletion.
- See which posts and pages contain direct links to the selected page.
- View risk levels based on the number of references found.
- Open referencing content for review.
- Cancel deletion without changing your content.
SafeDelete currently checks direct permalink matches in WordPress post content. It does not detect every type of link or dependency.
Installation
- Upload the plugin ZIP through Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin.
- Activate DevnDespro SafeDelete.
- Open Pages > All Pages.
- Select Trash on a page, or use the bulk Move to Trash action.
- Review the results before confirming.

No. SafeDelete displays a review window before the normal WordPress Trash action continues.
