Description
CoreX Commerce Messaging connects WooCommerce with the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API. The free edition includes order notifications, abandoned-cart reminders, approved template synchronization, international dialing defaults, delivery logs, and configuration help.
The free edition does not include an Inbox, OTP registration/login, or premium automation modules. Those are distributed separately and are not required for the free features to function.
External services
This plugin communicates directly with Meta’s WhatsApp Cloud API using credentials you configure. When enabled, it sends customer telephone numbers, approved message template names, template parameters, and order/cart-related information required to deliver messages. Requests are made when you test the connection, sync templates, send test messages, dispatch order notifications, or run abandoned-cart reminders. Meta may send webhook events to your site’s configured endpoint. You must comply with applicable consent and privacy requirements before sending messages.

No CoreX Codes license server connection is required for this free edition.
Optional Pro Add-on
Inbox and WhatsApp OTP & Login are available in a separately distributed plugin, CoreX Commerce Messaging Pro. No premium PHP functionality is bundled in this WordPress.org package. The two optional feature pages provide previews and an external link to https://corexcodes.pro/. The free plugin remains fully functional without Pro.
Installation
- Install and activate WooCommerce.
- Install and activate this plugin.
- Open CoreX Commerce Messaging > API Settings and enter your own Meta WhatsApp Cloud API credentials.
- Configure your default country, sync approved Meta message templates, and configure order/cart reminders.
- Test on a staging site with a consenting recipient before enabling live notifications.
