Description
PKODER Supplier Inventory Review checks supplier inventory files against an existing WooCommerce catalog. It preserves identifiers such as SKUs with leading zeros, records approved mappings and product bindings, and explains rows that need attention. An unused column change can reuse approved mappings; removed or renamed mapped columns require review.
- Manual UTF-8 CSV upload and deterministic column suggestions.
- SKU/quantity mapping, individual-unit or pack policies and stock buffer review.
- Change preview, saved decisions, row-level exceptions and private job history.
- Explicitly confirmed stock plans, including a separately acknowledged valid-rows-only option when the complete snapshot and all feed-level conditions allow it.
- Retry/status diagnostics and administrator-controlled historical payload export/cleanup.
Public beta: test your supplier workflow on staging before applying stock. This plugin does not create products or update prices. Preview/record actions leave inventory unchanged. Stock application and optional HTTPS retrieval default off. A site administrator can enable them in WooCommerce > PKODER Supplier Inventory Review settings after confirming the setup conditions. There is no payment, license-key or trial gate. Supplier-specific compatibility and third-party stock integrations require separate testing.
Data and external connections
The plugin stores private supplier source/results, mappings, product bindings, job/application history and operator identifiers in this site’s database. Database backups can contain those records. Source files are not added to the public Media Library. Default uninstall retains plugin records; explicit historical payload archival is not a full backup, restore or stock rollback.
No hosted AI service or required vendor account is used. Optional supplier HTTPS retrieval must be configured by an authorized operator. It contacts the chosen supplier hostname and sends the configured authentication and request headers. Supplier terms, permitted frequency and data rights remain the operator’s responsibility. Saved credentials are encrypted using this site’s identity/salts; loss or change of the underlying secrets can require credential re-entry.
Diagnostics omit raw supplier CSVs, credentials, signed URLs, order/customer data and REST nonces. Review exports/screenshots before sending a support request. Historical archive exports contain private supplier payloads; keep them out of public hosting and support tickets.
Limits and unsupported uses
UTF-8 CSV only: 2 MB, 5,000 rows and 100 columns per file; catalog observation limit 10,000 products. These are engineering limits, not a trial period or paid-upgrade quota. Jobs/plans have bounded retained payloads and explicit archive/cleanup; anti-replay identity ledgers also have finite capacity and are not automatically deleted.
No native XLSX/XML, product creation, price updates, multi-warehouse integration, Shopify integration or real AI is claimed. Missing rows are not automatically interpreted as zero stock. Unknown units, completeness or source timing must not be guessed. Arbitrary third-party stock hooks/datastores and every hosting/version combination have not been verified.
Support
Use this plugin’s WordPress.org support forum, or contact homecleancare2@gmail.com. Include versions, steps, approximate time, operation IDs and redacted diagnostics. Do not send passwords, nonces, signed URLs, raw supplier files or customer/order data.
Source and licensing
The package includes readable PHP, JavaScript modules and CSS. Assets are readable copies of local project source; there is no required customer compilation or obfuscated runtime. See docs/SOURCE-AND-LICENSES.md for the source layout and bundled license inventory.
Installation
- Install WooCommerce 10.0 or newer on WordPress 6.7 or newer with PHP 7.4 or newer. Back up the test store first.
- Upload and activate the complete PKODER Supplier Inventory Review ZIP.
- Open WooCommerce > PKODER Supplier Inventory Review using an account with WooCommerce-management and product-editing permission.
- Upload an authorized UTF-8 supplier CSV. Verify identifiers, quantity units, completeness and the supplier’s source-generation timestamp.
- Review mappings and proposed changes before recording decisions. Use WooCommerce > PKODER Supplier Inventory Review settings to opt into optional operations after testing; see bundled docs/CUSTOMER-GUIDE.md for recovery and limits.
No Node/build step is required on the customer’s host. Reliable Action Scheduler/WordPress cron execution is required for queued work; the local development worker is not distributed.
FAQ
-
Does installing the plugin change stock?
-
No. Stock application and HTTPS retrieval default off. Uploading, reviewing and recording a preview do not change WooCommerce inventory. An administrator must enable stock application, then an authorized operator must prepare and explicitly confirm a server-validated plan.
-
Does it work with every supplier?
-
Supplier-specific compatibility has not been verified with permission-cleared genuine supplier revision pairs. The generic UTF-8 CSV workflow is tested with synthetic fixtures. Test your own authorized exports on staging, including identifiers, packs, completeness, timestamps and later revisions before applying stock.
-
What happens when a supplier changes its file?
-
Unused column changes can reuse approved mappings. Removed or renamed mapped columns, changed units, invalid quantities and ambiguous identities require review. Missing rows are not automatically treated as zero stock.
-
Why is a job waiting or failed?
-
Queued work requires Action Scheduler and working WordPress cron. Check WooCommerce > Status > Scheduled Actions and the job diagnostics. Retry is bounded to three claimed attempts. A worker with an expired lease can be recovered; an active worker cannot be stolen by a retry.
-
Is a subscription, license key or external AI account needed?
-
No. The distributed plugin has no trial, payment or license gate and does not contact a hosted AI service. Optional HTTPS retrieval connects only to the supplier endpoint configured by the operator.
