Installation
Automatic Installation
- Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Go to Plugins > Add New.
- Search for Save & Clear Cart for WooCommerce.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
Manual Installation
- Download the plugin ZIP file from WordPress.org.
- In your WordPress Dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Choose the ZIP file and click Install Now.
- Activate the plugin after installation.
Configuration
- In your WordPress Dashboard, navigate to WooCommerce > Settings.
- Click the Save & Clear Cart tab.
- Configure your button text, colors, and cart restoration preferences.
- Click Save changes.

Does this plugin work for guest users?

Yes. Guest users can save and restore carts during their session. When a guest registers or logs in, their saved carts are automatically linked and migrated to their user account.

Can customers save more than one cart?

Yes. Customers can create and name multiple carts (e.g., “Monthly Supplies”, “Office Hardware”, “Birthday Gifts”) and manage them independently.

What is the difference between Replace and Merge when restoring a cart?

- Replace: Empties the current cart before loading the saved cart items.
- Merge: Keeps the items currently in the cart and adds the saved items to them, combining quantities if an item is already present.
