Description
Strela Page Cache keeps public pages fast for visitors who are not signed in.
The first visit to a public page is saved as HTML. Later visits are served from that file until the cache period ends. The period defaults to 12 hours and can be changed from the settings screen.
Cart, checkout, account pages, feeds, WordPress admin, and signed-in visitors are not cached. Each of those rules can be turned off. Saving a product, page, category, menu, or stock change clears the cache.
Auto-warm can fetch a page again shortly before it expires, so the next visitor still receives a cached page.
On those public pages the plugin also delays analytics and marketing scripts that the site already prints, until the visitor clicks, taps, or presses a key. Shop scripts such as WooCommerce and the theme stay immediate. Obvious contact-form spam is scored before it is stored.
External services
This plugin does not call a third-party API and does not send visitor data to another company.
Public pages may already include scripts or styles from analytics, advertising, or font providers. While a page is being stored in the cache, this plugin reads that HTML on the server. If it recognizes one of the addresses below, it changes that existing script so the visitor’s browser waits to run it until the visitor clicks, taps, or presses a key. This plugin does not contact those providers. After the visitor interacts, the browser may contact the provider, which is the same request that script would have made without this plugin.
No account data, form contents, or cache files are included in that recognition step. Nothing is sent when the page does not already contain one of these scripts.
Recognized addresses:
- Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google AdSense, and Google Fonts (
googletagmanager.com,google-analytics.com,googleadservices.com,googlesyndication.com,fonts.googleapis.com). Terms of service: https://policies.google.com/terms and https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/tag-manager/ . Privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy - Meta (
facebook.net). Terms of service: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms . Privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy - Yandex Metrica (
mc.yandex.ru,metrika.yandex). Terms of service: https://yandex.com/legal/metrica_termsofuse/ . Privacy policy: https://yandex.com/legal/confidential/
Auto-warm requests only this site’s own public URLs, from this server, so a cached page can be refreshed before it expires. Those requests do not include account data and do not go to another company.

FAQ
-
Does this cache carts and checkout?

Cached HTML is stored in a
strela-page-cachefolder inside the WordPress uploads directory. On a default install that iswp-content/uploads/strela-page-cache. If uploads use a custom path, the cache uses that path. The folder is cleared when you purge the cache. -
