Description
Instinctor Restaurant Menu does one job: it shows your menu properly. It is light, works with any theme, and looks designed from the first menu you add.
Build the menu
- Several menus per site: Lunch, Dinner, Drinks, Brunch.
- Sections with an optional note, such as “Served until 3 pm”.
- Each dish or drink with a description, an optional photo and up to six prices: sizes, glass or bottle, half or full portion.
- Dietary and allergen tags: vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, spicy, contains nuts, halal, kosher. A legend is added under the menu automatically.
- Badges: New, Popular, Chef’s choice.
- A sold-out switch, so a dish can be marked unavailable without deleting it.
- Import and export as CSV, so an existing menu can be brought in from a spreadsheet.
Show the menu
- A Restaurant Menu block for the WordPress editor, and a shortcode for any theme or page builder.
- Four layouts: Classic, Two columns, Cards with photos, and Compact board.
- A choice of line between dish and price: dots, line, dashes, fade or none.
- An accent colour. Fonts follow your theme.
- Section tabs that stay at the top of the screen on long menus, which matters on phones.
Beyond the page
- Menu markup for search engines. Every menu carries schema.org Menu data (sections, dishes, prices, dietary suitability), so search engines can read it as a menu.
- Table QR code. Generated in your browser for the page that shows the menu. Download it as a PNG for table cards. No outside service is used.
- Print-ready. One click opens a clean paper version of the menu.
Built light
No jQuery, no outside requests, no tracking. Menus are stored as standard WordPress content and stay in place if the plugin is deactivated.

Installation
- Install the plugin from Plugins Add New and activate it.
- Go to Restaurant Menus Add Menu, give the menu a name and add sections and dishes.
- Publish the menu.
- Add the Restaurant Menu block to any page and choose the menu, or paste the shortcode shown on the menu’s screen.

Does it work with my theme or page builder?

Yes. The block works in the WordPress editor, and the shortcode works anywhere shortcodes are accepted, including page builders. Fonts and text colours come from your theme.

How do I set the currency?

Restaurant Menus Settings: symbol, its position, separators, and the three-letter currency code used in the search-engine markup.

What goes in the CSV?

Columns: section, name, description, size_1, price_1, size_2, price_2, size_3, price_3, tags, badge, sold_out. Tags are separated by spaces and use these keys: vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, spicy, nuts, halal, kosher. Export a menu first to see the format.

Not with this plugin: it shows the menu. Online ordering, bookings and deposits come with Instinctor.

They stay in the database as standard WordPress content and come back when the plugin is activated again.
