Botleads

Description

This is the official WordPress plugin for Botleads, developed and maintained by Roboticon, the company that owns and operates Botleads.

Botleads is a lead management platform (CRM) for sales teams. With this plugin, the contacts that arrive through your website go straight to your Botleads dashboard and to your sales team. You build the form inside WordPress, place it on a page and every visitor who fills it in becomes a lead in Botleads.

Features

  • Ready-made templates. Start from Contact, Quote request, Callback or Blank, then adjust the fields.
  • Field mapping. Name, email and phone go to the right lead fields. Every other question goes to the lead history.
  • Match your site. Pick the button color and the form background. Text color adjusts automatically to stay readable.
  • Live preview. See the form and the confirmation message exactly as visitors will.
  • One-click publishing. Create a new page with the form already on it, or paste the shortcode on any page.
  • No lost contacts. If Botleads does not accept a submission, it stays saved in the plugin with the reason. Fix the reason and resend one by one or all at once.
  • Live status. The plugin screen shows whether the connection is active, how many contacts were delivered and which ones are waiting, without reloading the page.
  • Existing forms (optional). Submissions from forms already on the site (Elementor, Contact Form 7, plain HTML) can also be captured. This is turned off on new installs.

A Botleads account is required.

External services

This plugin connects to the Botleads API to deliver the leads collected by your forms to your own Botleads account. Nothing is sent until the site owner connects the plugin with the credentials from their Botleads dashboard (hash key, API URL and company code).

What is sent and when:

  • When the site owner connects or checks the connection: the hash key and company code, to confirm the account.
  • When a form is first shown on a public page: the form name, its field names and the page URL, so the form appears in the Botleads dashboard.
  • When a visitor submits a form: the values the visitor typed (usually name, email and phone, plus any other questions in the form), the form name and the page URL.

Everything is sent from the site’s server through the WordPress HTTP API. The hash key and company code stay on the server and are never printed on public pages. If the API rejects a submission from a form built with this plugin, it is stored in the site’s database so the owner can resend or delete it from the plugin screen.

The optional “capture existing forms” feature (off on new installs) adds a small script to public pages. It sends the fields and the submissions of other forms on the site (Elementor, Contact Form 7, plain HTML) to the site’s own REST API, which forwards them to Botleads.

The service is Botleads, owned and operated by Roboticon Soluções Digitais: Botleads, Privacy Policy.
