Description
The Rocket Marketing plugin provides a WordPress settings dashboard for managing business information, reusable shortcodes, manually entered Google reviews, structured data, content and navigation adjustments, and optional marketing service integrations.
Business information and shortcode values are stored in your WordPress database. Place the supported shortcodes in shortcode-enabled page or post content to display those values. Divi-specific features apply only to the supported Divi markup and editor interfaces.
Business details and reusable content
- Store your company name, legal company name, address, phone number, email address, Google Maps listing URL, Google review URL, review rating, review total, and years of service.
- Display saved business details throughout your website using shortcodes. Updating a saved setting changes its output wherever the shortcode is rendered.
- Display phone numbers and email addresses as clickable links, plain text, or link URLs using shortcode attributes.
- Create custom plain-text shortcodes using repeatable name/value fields. Add or remove rows under Business details, then save your changes. For example, save warranty_years with the value 25 and use [warranty_years] in your content. Custom names cannot replace shortcodes already registered by another feature or plugin.
- Display a page’s city custom field with [rocketmarketing_city].
Google review entries
- Add and manage review entries through the Google Reviews menu. Each entry supports a title, review content, star rating, review date, and original Google review URL.
- Make review entries available to WordPress queries and compatible Divi post displays.
- Display an entry’s stars and date using shortcodes, and display your manually entered overall review count and average rating using separate shortcodes.
- Use the stored original review URL as the review entry’s link. For supported Divi rows with the google_review_carousel class, matching Google Maps “read more” links open in a new tab.
Reviews, aggregate ratings, and review totals are entered manually. The plugin does not automatically import or synchronize reviews from Google and does not include a standalone review slider.
SEO, content, and navigation tools
- Publish administrator-supplied JSON structured data as a JSON-LD script in the frontend footer. The plugin does not generate schema automatically.
- Create a reusable list of links from one anchor-text/URL entry per line. Display the list using [rocketmarketing_seo_links]. Links pointing to the current page are omitted.
- Optionally add paragraph tags to matching Divi text and toggle content when the active theme is named Divi.
- Optionally change the exact content link attribute rel=”external nofollow” to rel=”nofollow sponsored”. This does not automatically identify paid links.
- Remove links pointing to the current page from a configured WordPress navigation menu.
- Configure page paths for editing restrictions. The plugin adds an editing-disabled notice and restricts supported WordPress and Divi editing controls. This is an editing workflow feature, not a security or access-control boundary.
This plugin provides tools to support your SEO work but does not guarantee improved search rankings.
Divi integrations
- Adjust matching Divi phone and email button output to use the saved contact details and corresponding tel: or mailto: links.
- Replace [google_review_link] in loaded post content, including supported Divi URL fields, with your saved Google review URL.
- Replace the matching Divi mobile-menu toggle span with a button element when using Divi or a Divi child theme.
- Apply the supported review-link and editing-control adjustments described above.
Divi is required for these specific integrations but not required to install the plugin. Compatibility depends on the Divi markup and hooks used by your website; these adjustments do not apply to every theme or every Divi module.
Optional landing pages and tracking
- Rocket Marketing landing pages: forward requests under a configured local path, such as /g/, to the Rocket Marketing landing-page service and display its response on your website. Requires service access and a Rocket Marketing API key.
- CallTale: load the CallTale frontend script for phone call tracking and attribution. Requires a configured CallTale service account.
- Inspectlet: load the Inspectlet frontend script using your website ID for session recordings and heatmaps. Requires an Inspectlet account.
These connections are optional. See External Services below for what is transmitted, when connections occur, and the applicable service policies.
Available shortcodes
- [rocketmarketing_company_name] – saved company name.
- [rocketmarketing_legal_company_name] – saved legal company name.
- [rocketmarketing_full_address] – saved address, with a line break before a matching city/state/ZIP portion.
- [rocketmarketing_phone_number] or [rocketmarketing_phone] – saved phone number as a clickable telephone link.
- [rocketmarketing_phone_number no_link=”1″] – formatted phone number without a link.
- [rocketmarketing_phone_number link_only=”1″] – telephone link URL only.
- [rocketmarketing_email] – saved email address as a clickable email link.
- [rocketmarketing_email no_link=”1″] – email address without a link.
- [rocketmarketing_email link_only=”1″] – email link URL only.
- [rocketmarketing_google_maps_link] – saved Google Maps listing URL.
- [rocketmarketing_google_review_link] – saved Google review URL.
- [rocketmarketing_years_of_service] – saved years of service.
- [rocketmarketing_google_review_count] – manually entered overall review total.
- [rocketmarketing_google_review_rating] – manually entered overall review rating, formatted to one decimal place.
- [rocketmarketing_google_review_stars] – current review entry’s star icons. A compatible Font Awesome stylesheet must be supplied by your theme or another integration.
- [rocketmarketing_google_review_date] – current review entry’s date, formatted as month, day, and year.
- [rocketmarketing_city] – the current post or page’s city custom field.
- [rocketmarketing_seo_links] – the configured reusable link list.
- Custom shortcodes – names and plain-text values configured under Business details.
Use review-entry shortcodes in a display that sets the current post to the relevant Google Review entry. URL shortcodes return a URL rather than a complete link. WordPress does not render shortcodes in every setting or URL field; the plugin includes the specific Divi integrations described above.

External Services
This plugin includes optional integrations with external services. Local business settings, shortcodes, schema, and manually entered reviews do not require these services.
Rocket Marketing Landing Pages
When landing-page routing is enabled, requests matching the configured path are forwarded to https://roofsite.co/ppc/ to retrieve and display landing pages provided by Rocket Marketing.
The plugin sends the requested landing-page path, URL query parameters, HTTP request method, request content type, request body, and configured Rocket Marketing API key. Request bodies may contain information submitted through landing-page forms, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, and messages. The service also receives the connecting server’s IP address.
Returned pages may include scripts, tracking integrations, cookies, and redirects supplied by the service.
This feature requires landing-page service access and an API key provided by Rocket Marketing. Enable it only if you want matching requests and form submissions processed by this service. Disable landing-page routing to stop the plugin forwarding these requests.

CallTale
When CallTale tracking is enabled and the settings are saved, the plugin loads an external script from a.calltale.com on frontend pages to provide phone call tracking and attribution.
Loading this script sends the visitor’s IP address and browser request information to CallTale. The script may collect page URLs, referral information, browser and device information, and cookie or session identifiers for call attribution. Call-related information is processed according to the site’s CallTale service configuration.
This integration requires a configured CallTale service account. Uncheck the CallTale setting and save changes to stop the plugin loading the script.

Inspectlet
When an Inspectlet website ID is entered and saved, the plugin loads Inspectlet’s external script from cdn.inspectlet.com on frontend pages to provide session recordings and heatmaps.
The integration sends the configured website ID and allows Inspectlet to collect visitor IP addresses, browser and device information, page URLs, referral information, cookie or session identifiers, and website interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and page content. Data captured depends on the site’s Inspectlet configuration and masking settings.
This integration requires an Inspectlet account and website ID. Clear the website ID and save changes to stop the plugin loading the script.

Visitor Privacy
Enabling an integration authorizes the plugin to connect to that service. The plugin does not include a visitor consent banner or automatically delay tracking scripts until a visitor consents. Site owners should configure any required visitor consent controls and explain enabled integrations in their website privacy policy.

Installation
- In WordPress, open Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin, upload the plugin ZIP, and install it.
- Activate Rocket Marketing from the Plugins screen.
- Open Rocket Marketing in the WordPress admin menu. Managing these settings requires the manage_options capability, normally held by administrators.
- Under Business details, enter the company information you want to reuse. Enter review totals and ratings manually.
- To create a custom shortcode, click Add shortcode, enter a name without brackets and its plain-text value, then save. Use letters, numbers, underscores, or hyphens in the name. Use the name inside brackets in shortcode-enabled content.
- Under SEO settings, enable only the adjustments you need. Paste JSON, without surrounding script tags, into Schema code. Check your schema content before using it across the website.
- To configure SEO links, enter one link per line as Anchor text, https://example.com/page/ and place [rocketmarketing_seo_links] in your content.
- To hide same-page navigation links, enter the numeric WordPress menu ID in Hide same-page menu links. The current implementation uses one menu ID.
- To configure editing restrictions, enter one site-relative page path per line, such as /about/, in Block editing SEO pages. Match the page’s permalink path, including its trailing slash where applicable.
- For hosted landing pages, obtain Rocket Marketing service access and an API key, enter the key and a folder path such as /g/ under Google Ads, then enable landing-page routing. That path is reserved for the service’s landing-page requests.
- For CallTale, configure the site with your CallTale account, then enable CallTale under Tracking. For Inspectlet, enter your Inspectlet website ID. Configure any needed visitor consent controls separately.
- Click the save button to store your changes. Use the supported shortcodes in a Shortcode block or compatible theme/builder content, and check their output on the frontend.
- To add reviews, open Google Reviews > Add Review. Enter the title and review text, set the star rating, date, and original review URL, then publish the entry. Configure your theme or compatible Divi post module to display these entries.
- To use [rocketmarketing_city], add a custom field named city to the relevant page or post and enter the city name as its value.
FAQ
-
Does this plugin require Divi?
-
No. The business settings, standard shortcodes, manual review entries, structured data output, and external service settings do not require Divi. The Divi markup, button, review-link, and editor integrations require Divi and compatible output.
-
Does it automatically retrieve Google reviews?
-
No. Add reviews through the Google Reviews admin menu and enter the overall review rating and review total under Business details. These values are not synchronized with Google.
-
How do I create a custom shortcode?
-
Under Business details, click Add shortcode, enter a name such as warranty_years and a value such as 25, and save. Place [warranty_years] in shortcode-enabled content. Custom values are plain text; HTML and nested shortcodes are not executed. Remove a row and save to delete that custom shortcode.
-
How do I show business information?
-
Enter the information under Business details and save. Add shortcodes such as [company_name], [phone_number], [email], or [full_address] to shortcode-enabled content. See Available shortcodes above for the complete list.
-
How do I add structured data?
-
Enter your JSON object or array in Schema code under SEO settings and save. Do not include script tags. The plugin outputs the supplied data as JSON-LD in the frontend footer; you are responsible for its accuracy and suitability for your pages.
-
How do I add CallTale phone tracking?
-
First configure your website with your CallTale account. Enable the CallTale checkbox under Tracking and save. Disable the checkbox and save to stop this plugin loading the script.
-
How do I enable or disable Inspectlet?
-
Enter your Inspectlet website ID under Tracking and save to load the script. Clear the ID and save to stop this plugin loading it.
-
Do I need a Rocket Marketing account?
-
No. Only the hosted landing-page integration requires Rocket Marketing service access and an API key. Local settings, shortcodes, manual reviews, and local content adjustments do not require that service. CallTale and Inspectlet require their own configured accounts.
-
No. It does not provide a consent banner or automatically wait for visitor consent before loading enabled tracking integrations. Configure any required consent controls separately and describe the enabled services in your site’s privacy policy.
-
Will the plugin improve my search rankings automatically?
-
No ranking improvement is guaranteed. The plugin provides reusable content, administrator-supplied structured data, and specific content/navigation adjustments. It does not track rankings, perform SEO audits, or manage advertising campaigns.
