Requirements

• A Xorventa account (start a 30-day free trial).
• A theme that calls wp_head (nearly all do; the plugin tells you if yours does not).

External services

This plugin connects your site to Xorventa, the service that provides the chat window. It is required for the plugin to do anything.

• What loads: on every public page of your site, the plugin loads the Xorventa chat window script from https://api.xorventa.ai/widget/xorventa-chat.js. Loading it sends the page address and your chat window key to Xorventa, as any script request does.
• When your visitors use the chat: the messages a visitor types (or speaks, if you enable voice) are sent to Xorventa to produce Xora’s answers. Nothing is sent until a visitor opens the chat window.
• When you connect from your Xorventa account: Xorventa calls two REST routes this plugin adds (xorventa/v1/status and xorventa/v1/configure), using an Application Password you create for it, to read the plugin’s state and set your chat window key. You can revoke that password at any time under Users → Profile → Application Passwords.
• No data leaves your site otherwise. The plugin does not track your visitors, set cookies of its own, or send your site’s content anywhere.
