GateFuz – Universal Payment Gateways

Description

GateFuz is a modern, decoupled payment gateway engine and transaction ledger for WordPress. It provides a unified checkout interface for one-time payments, administrative subscription tracking and synchronization via webhooks, and centralized transaction management with zero foreign plugin dependencies.

Key Highlights

  • 7 Global Payment Gateways: Stripe, PayPal Smart Buttons, Razorpay (UPI, Netbanking), Mollie (iDEAL, Bancontact), Paystack (Africa), Braintree, and Direct Bank Wire.
  • Dual Key Credentials: Isolated Test and Live credentials across all API gateways. Toggle between Sandbox and Production with a single click.
  • Subscription Tracking & Webhook Sync: Maintain an administrative subscription ledger to track customer status, record trial periods, and synchronize subscription lifecycle events received via gateway webhooks.
  • Manual Transaction & Subscription CRUD: Full administrative controls to add, view, or manage transactions and link them directly to subscription IDs.
  • Start-to-End Diagnostic Logging: Built-in transaction lifecycle observer with a live debug viewer and server environment health diagnostics.
  • Ecosystem Ready: Seamlessly connects with Frontend Dashboard (FED), AdFuz Advertising Engine, BufferCode products, or custom bespoke plugins and themes.
  • Developer First Architecture: Trigger checkouts with the Block Editor, shortcode [gatefuz_checkout], or PHP action do_action('gatefuz_render_checkout').

FAQ

Is GateFuz completely independent?

Yes. GateFuz is a 100% standalone plugin with its own dedicated database tables (wp_gatefuz_transactions and wp_gatefuz_subscriptions) and zero foreign dependencies.

How do dual Test and Live keys work?

Every supported gateway stores both your Test and Live credentials simultaneously. When you toggle Test Mode on or off in gateway settings, GateFuz switches between test and production without re-entering credentials.

Can I use GateFuz with custom plugins or themes?

Yes. Developers can trigger the checkout modal via do_action( 'gatefuz_render_checkout', $amount, $currency ) and listen for verified payments using add_action( 'gatefuz_payment_completed', ... ).

How do I display the payment checkout box on my site?

You can insert the GateFuz Payment Box block in the Block Editor, or add the shortcode [gatefuz_checkout amount="49.00" currency="USD"] to any WordPress page, post, or block editor content. You can adjust the amount and currency attributes as needed (e.g. [gatefuz_checkout amount="25.00" currency="EUR"]). Alternatively, theme and plugin developers can render the payment box programmatically using do_action( 'gatefuz_render_checkout', 49.00, 'USD' );.

Does GateFuz create recurring subscriptions during checkout?

No. The frontend checkout modal and Gutenberg block process one-time payments. Subscriptions created in external gateway dashboards (or added manually by administrators) are tracked and synchronized in the built-in Subscriptions Ledger via gateway webhooks.
