Most stores have products with something missing: an image that was never uploaded, a product that is still in “Uncategorized”, a variation without a price, or a product with no weight that breaks your shipping rates. These problems are easy to miss and hard to find one product at a time.
Ecreate Product Health Check scans your whole catalog and shows you exactly which products need attention and why. Click a problem to see the products it affects, then open each one to fix it.
What it checks
- No product image
- Product image without alt text
- No price, including variable products where a variation has no price
- No short description
- No description
- Only in the default “Uncategorized” category
- No SKU
- No weight, for physical products only (virtual and external products are skipped)
- No product tags

Installation
- Make sure WooCommerce is installed and active.
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin and search for “Ecreate Product Health Check”.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
- Go to Products > Health Check, or click Open on the Plugins page.
- Click “Scan products”.
FAQ

Does the plugin change my products?

No. It only reads your products and shows a report. You fix each product yourself in the normal product editor.

How long does a scan take?

Products are checked 25 at a time, so large catalogs can be scanned without the page timing out. The time depends on the number of products and your hosting. Keep the page open until the scan finishes.

Do I need to scan again after fixing a product?

No. Every time a product is saved, it is checked again and the report is updated. Scan again only if products were changed in a way that bypasses WooCommerce, such as direct database edits.

Why is a variable product listed as having no price?

At least one of its variations has no price. Customers cannot buy that variation until it has one.

Why are some products not checked for weight?

Virtual, external and grouped products are not shipped, so they do not need a weight. A downloadable product is only skipped when it is also marked as virtual.

Can I turn off a check?

Yes. Use “Which checks to show” at the bottom of the page. The report updates straight away, without a new scan.

Does it slow down my store?

No. The plugin only runs in the admin area. It adds nothing to your store’s front end.

Does it need WooCommerce?

Yes. It checks WooCommerce products, and shows a notice if WooCommerce is not active.
