Description

RightChoice connects your WordPress website with the RightChoice platform so you can publish and manage content directly from your RightChoice dashboard.

The plugin provides a secure connection between your WordPress website and RightChoice using a dedicated authentication token.

You do not need to provide your WordPress username or password to connect your site.

With the RightChoice plugin you can:

• Connect your WordPress website to your RightChoice account using a secure token.
• Generate a secure connection token.
• Publish content from RightChoice directly to WordPress.
• Set the WordPress post title and URL slug.
• Publish structured HTML content.
• Provide an SEO title.
• Authenticate publishing requests through the WordPress REST API.
• Generate a new token to invalidate the previous token.
• Create new WordPress posts or update existing posts using the URL slug.
• Publish content as either a published post or a draft.

How It Works

No WordPress username or password is required to connect your website to RightChoice.

1. Install and activate the RightChoice plugin.
2. Open RightChoice in your WordPress administration area.
3. Click Generate Token.
4. Copy the generated token.
5. Add the token and your WordPress Site URL to your RightChoice dashboard.
6. RightChoice uses the token to authenticate publishing requests to your WordPress website.
7. Content can then be published or updated on your WordPress website.

Content Publishing

RightChoice can send content to your WordPress website through an authenticated REST API endpoint.

Published content can include:

• Post title
• URL slug
• HTML content
• SEO title
• Publication status

The plugin creates content as a standard WordPress post.

The URL slug is used as the identifier for content published by RightChoice.

If a standard WordPress post already exists with the requested slug, the plugin updates that post instead of creating a duplicate.

If no standard WordPress post exists with the requested slug, the plugin creates a new WordPress post.

HTML content is processed through WordPress content sanitization before it is stored.

Security

RightChoice uses a dedicated authentication token to authorize publishing requests.

Generating a new token immediately invalidates the previously configured token.

Never share your RightChoice connection token publicly.

If you believe your token has been compromised, generate a new token from the RightChoice plugin settings.

When the publishing functionality is used, the RightChoice service sends the requested publishing information to your WordPress website through the plugin’s authenticated REST API endpoint.

The information sent may include:

• WordPress post title
• URL slug
• HTML content
• SEO title
• Publication status
• Authentication information required to authorize the request

The plugin does not require WordPress administrator usernames or passwords.

Privacy

The RightChoice plugin does not require WordPress administrator usernames or passwords to connect your website to RightChoice.

When the publishing functionality is used, information required to authenticate the request and publish or update the requested content is processed between your WordPress website and the RightChoice service.
