Description
Circumflex Booking Meeting Rooms is a free add-on for Circumflex Booking. It
helps workplaces, coworking spaces and venues let people find and reserve a
room that fits their meeting.
Find the right room
- Organize rooms by city, building and floor.
- Add capacity and the facilities that matter at the location, such as video
conferencing, a whiteboard or step-free access. - Let people filter by location, minimum capacity and required facilities.
- Hide location choices automatically when there is only one relevant option.
- Show when rooms are busy without publishing meeting subjects, attendees or
contact details. - Keep a browser-local preferred location and favorite rooms on that device.
Choose the time
- Find rooms for an exact start and end time.
- Offer useful shortcuts for common meeting lengths while keeping the end time
editable. - Keep start-time intervals and meeting length independent. A booking can, for
example, last 20 minutes even when available starts are shown every 30
minutes. - Allow full-day and consecutive multi-day reservations when the same room is
available for the complete period.
Administration and privacy
Administrators can set shared opening hours and narrower hours for a location
or individual room. Each room has one reservation calendar even when it is
offered from several WordPress pages, so it cannot be double-booked.
The add-on uses Circumflex Booking for reservations, manual approval, email,
private customer links and privacy tools. It does not require an account,
license key, external service or Circumflex Booking Pro. A compatible Pro
installation can separately add sign-in, automatic approval, notification
channels and rules that limit who may book.
Privacy
This add-on contacts no external service and stores no telemetry. Circumflex
Booking stores the booking and customer information described in its privacy
section. Preferred location and favorite-room choices are stored only in that
browser; they contain no booking or customer contact data.

Never post booking data, contact details, private booking links or credentials.
Installation
- Install and activate Circumflex Booking 1.6.0 or newer.
- Install and activate Circumflex Booking Meeting Rooms.
- Open Booking > Settings and select Meeting rooms as the site’s booking
setup. - Open Booking > Rooms and save the first room. An empty setup creates the
standard room-booking type in the same operation. - Add capacity, location and facilities where useful, then review shared or
room-specific booking hours. - Add the Circumflex Booking block or shortcode to a normal WordPress page and
complete a test booking before opening it to users.
Only one public booking setup is active on a site at a time. Installing this
add-on does not select it, create sample data or alter existing bookings.

Can I use the add-on without Circumflex Booking Pro?

Yes. Room discovery, exact-time booking, reservations, manual approval, email
and private customer links use the free Circumflex Booking plugin. -
Are existing meeting details shown in room timelines?

No. Public availability can show that a period conflicts, but does not publish
meeting subjects, attendees, contact details, notes or internal identifiers. -
Yes. A room keeps one authoritative reservation calendar. Different public
entrances may preselect locations or filters, but cannot double-book the room. -
Does activating the add-on change existing bookings?

No. Activation only makes Meeting rooms available under Booking > Settings. An
administrator must choose it explicitly. Existing Circumflex Booking settings
and bookings are kept.
