Description

Visioweb Returns Manager for WooCommerce adds a self-service return flow to your store: customers request a return directly from My Account > Orders, within a configurable number of days after delivery, and you manage and process every request and refund from a single admin dashboard.

This free version is complete and fully functional on its own. There are no artificially limited or blocked features.

Features

  • “Request a return” button on My Account > Orders and on the View order page, shown only on eligible orders (order status and return window).
  • Accessible request dialog (keyboard and screen-reader friendly).
  • Prevents duplicate requests: a customer cannot open a second return on an order that already has one open.
  • Admin list of every return request (order, customer, total, status, date, reason) with Approve, Reject and Mark as closed actions; every change is added as an order note.
  • Configurable return window (in days).
  • Refunding the order in WooCommerce (fully or partially) closes its open return requests automatically.
  • Compatible with High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) and the Cart & Checkout blocks.
  • Clean uninstall: removes its own table, options and scheduled events.

Installation

  1. Make sure WooCommerce is installed and active.
  2. Upload the volano-returns-manager-for-woocommerce folder to /wp-content/plugins/, or install it from Plugins > Add New.
  3. Activate the plugin.
  4. Go to WooCommerce > Returns settings to set the return window (30 days by default).

FAQ

Does this work without WooCommerce?

No, WooCommerce must be installed and active: the plugin adds its button and hooks into WooCommerce’s My Account > Orders page.

Does it support multisite?

This hasn’t been tested on a WordPress multisite installation yet.

Can customers request a return on any order?

No. The button only appears on orders whose status is “completed” or “processing” and that are still within the configured return window.
