Description

ESM Web3 Social Connect brings several customer contact touchpoints into one lightweight WordPress plugin while keeping each module optional.

The plugin provides three practical contact layers:

  1. Social Share — country-profile recommendations with administrator control.
  2. Live Connect — lightweight links to messaging and support channels.
  3. Direct Contact — a private WordPress inquiry form, inbox, email notification, and privacy tools.

An optional Web3 Bridge detects ESM Platform and exposes a connection point to Web3Home without duplicating wallet, identity, evaluation, reward, NFT, campaign, or airdrop engines.

The plugin works as a standalone WordPress plugin. ESM Platform is not required.

The plugin does not use GeoIP. Country recommendations come from the WordPress site locale or the administrator’s explicit selection. Recommendations are editable defaults, never mandatory rules.

The plugin does not send telemetry, analytics, site URLs, administrator email addresses, or usage statistics to the developer.

Features

  • Korea-first, global country profile registry.
  • Profiles for Korea, Japan, United States, India, Vietnam, Taiwan, Thailand, and Global.
  • Sharing services: KakaoTalk, Naver BAND, Naver Blog, LINE, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Telegram, Copy Link, and Device Share.
  • Default article placement after article metadata when a compatible hook is available, otherwise before the main post content.
  • Explicit local service icons and labels on desktop and mobile.
  • Color and monochrome icon modes.
  • Responsive administrator workspace with persistent plugin navigation.
  • Current-site branding uses the canonical WordPress Site Icon first, with safe WordPress media/custom-logo fallbacks when needed.
  • Bundled ko_KR translation and a POT template for localization.
  • Post sharing is enabled by default. Pages are not automatically decorated.
  • Live Connect uses administrator-configured links and does not preload chat SDKs.
  • Direct Contact stores inquiries privately in WordPress, sends an email notification, and provides an administrator inbox with New / In progress / Done states.
  • WordPress privacy policy helper, personal-data exporter, and personal-data eraser.
  • Optional floating Contact Gateway, disabled by default.
  • Optional ESM Web3 bridge, disabled by default.
  • Legacy Korea SNS detection without automatic deactivation or data mutation.
  • Page-cache friendly public sharing markup with no visitor-specific server state.

Shortcodes

[esm_w3sc_share]

Renders the social-share bar manually.

[esm_w3sc_live_connect]

Renders configured live-connect links.

[esm_w3sc_contact_form]

Renders the internal direct-contact form when enabled.

[esm_w3sc_contact_hub]

Renders the contact gateway. ESM sites can place this inside an existing canonical mobile or bottom navigation instead of enabling another floating bar.

External services

The plugin connects to third-party services only when a visitor actively clicks a configured share or live-connect button, except that the Kakao JavaScript SDK can be loaded after a KakaoTalk share click when the administrator has configured a Kakao JavaScript key.

Privacy

Social-share and live-connect buttons are activated by visitor action. The plugin itself does not track visitors.

If Direct Contact is enabled, the site stores the fields entered by the visitor: name, phone number, email, subject, message, source URL, and submission time. This data is used to answer the inquiry. WordPress personal-data export and erase integrations are included.

No IP address is stored by the plugin.

FAQ

Does the plugin use GeoIP?

No. It uses the WordPress site locale or an administrator-selected country profile.

Does it require ESM Platform?

No. The plugin works standalone. ESM Platform only enables the optional bridge contract.

Does it add sharing buttons to Pages?

No, not automatically. It automatically decorates singular Posts only. Use the shortcode for manual placement elsewhere.

Does it load ChannelTalk or other chat SDKs on every page?

No. Live Connect uses simple links. The Kakao JavaScript SDK is lazy-loaded after a Kakao share click when a key is configured.

What happens if the old Korea SNS plugin is active?

The settings dashboard shows a compatibility warning. ESM Web3 Social Connect never disables or edits another plugin automatically.
