CheckFlow is a lightweight WooCommerce checkout optimizer that helps you reduce cart abandonment and improve conversions — with zero configuration required.

Multi-Step Checkout

Split the overwhelming single-page WooCommerce checkout into a clean, guided three-step flow:

  • Information — billing and shipping address
  • Shipping — shipping method selection
  • Payment — payment method and place order

Three progress indicator styles included:

  • Step Bubbles — numbered circles with connector lines
  • Progress Bar — smooth animated fill bar
  • Minimal — clean numbered steps only

Each step is validated server-side via AJAX before the customer can advance — no full page reload required.

Trust Badges

Display security and guarantee icons directly on the checkout page to reassure hesitant buyers at the most critical conversion moment. Five built-in badges:

checkflow_loaded — fires after plugin initialises
checkflow_step_validated — fires after a step passes validation
checkflow_activated — fires on plugin activation

Filters:
checkflow_checkout_steps — modify the step definitions array
checkflow_progress_style — override the progress style
checkflow_step_field_map — modify required fields per step
checkflow_trust_badge_definitions — add or modify trust badges

Template Overrides

Copy any template from wp-content/plugins/checkflow-for-woocommerce/templates/ to wp-content/themes/your-theme/checkflow/ and modify freely. Plugin updates will never overwrite your copies.

Installation

  1. Upload the checkflow-for-woocommerce folder to /wp-content/plugins/ or install via Plugins Add New.
  2. Activate the plugin.
  3. Go to Settings CheckFlow and enable the modules you want.
  4. Visit your checkout page — the changes are live immediately.

FAQ

Does this work with my theme?

Yes. CheckFlow uses standard WooCommerce hooks and adds CSS classes that work alongside any theme. If you need to adjust styles, copy the templates to your theme for full control.

Does it work with the WooCommerce Checkout Block?

The multi-step module targets the classic WooCommerce checkout shortcode ([woocommerce_checkout]). WooCommerce Blocks checkout is not supported in this version.

Will it conflict with my page builder?

CheckFlow uses standard WooCommerce hooks and does not modify page builder output. If you use Elementor Pro’s Checkout widget, the multi-step module may conflict — disable it from Settings and use trust badges only.

Is WooCommerce HPOS supported?

Yes. CheckFlow declares compatibility with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (custom order tables).

Can I add my own trust badges?

Yes. Use the checkflow_trust_badge_definitions filter:

What happens to my data if I uninstall the plugin?

By default, your settings are kept so reinstalling restores them. Enable Remove Data on Uninstall in Settings General before deleting the plugin if you want a completely clean removal.
