To keep the service sustainable and prevent abuse, the free tier applies a daily rate limit:

External services
This plugin connects to the Cosmo AI FAQ Generator API to generate FAQ content using artificial intelligence. This service is operated by CosmoCode.
What data is sent and when
When you click Generate FAQ in the post editor, the plugin sends the following data to the API endpoint https://wpfaq.it/api/relay-server-gen-wpfaq-it/generate-free.php:
- Your site URL
- The post title and post content (plain text, HTML stripped)
- The post ID
- The requested number of questions (max 5 for the free tier)
- The selected language
- A timestamp and an HMAC-SHA256 signature (used to authenticate the request)
No personal data about visitors or end users is ever transmitted. Data is only sent when an admin explicitly clicks the “Generate FAQ” button.

Installation
Automatic installation
- Go to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress dashboard
- Search for Cosmo AI FAQ Generator
- Click Install Now, then Activate
Manual installation
- Download the plugin zip file
- Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin
- Upload the zip and click Install Now
- Click Activate Plugin
After activation
Go to Settings > Cosmo AI FAQ Generator to configure the display style, default language, and whether to auto-append FAQs to post content.

How does the AI generation work?

The plugin sends the title and text content of your post to the Cosmo AI FAQ Generator API, which uses an AI model to generate relevant questions and answers. The generated FAQs are returned to the editor for your review before saving.

Does the free version really limit to 4 generations per day?

Yes. This is a rate limit to keep the shared AI service sustainable and prevent abuse, not a feature restriction — only successful generations count against the limit, and it resets every day.

Does it work with WooCommerce products?

Yes. The plugin registers on all public post types that support the editor, including WooCommerce products (

How do I display FAQs on the frontend?

FAQs are displayed automatically after post content. The PRO version also provides a shortcode to place FAQs anywhere in your content.

Does it output Schema Markup for Google?

Yes. When enabled in settings (default: on), the plugin outputs a
FAQPageJSON-LD block in<head>and also adds microdata attributes (itemscope,itemprop) to the HTML, enabling FAQ Rich Snippets in Google Search results. -
Can I edit the generated FAQs before saving?

Yes. After generation, each question and answer is editable directly in the panel. You can also remove individual items before saving.

In which languages can FAQs be generated?

Italian, English, French, and German. The language can be selected per-generation in the editor panel.

Does it work with the Classic Editor plugin?

Yes. When the Classic Editor plugin is active, the plugin falls back to a standard metabox below the post content.
