Description

Your customer asks for an electronic invoice. Your order is already in WooCommerce. Why are you retyping it?

Since 1 September 2026 every French business must be able to receive electronic invoices. Issuing them
becomes mandatory for small businesses on 1 September 2027. Public buyers (Chorus Pro) and many large
customers already require the format today – and they reject files that miss a single mandatory field.

Novair E-Invoice Generator turns any order into a valid Factur-X invoice file (CII UN/CEFACT D16B XML,
the same syntax as ZUGFeRD 2.x) from the order screen. One click. No retyping, no second tool, no
subscription to an invoicing platform.

What you get

• One click, one valid file. Open an order, click “Generate Factur-X”, download the XML. Line items,
  shipping, fees, coupons, VAT breakdown and payment data are mapped for you.
• Checked before you send. 30+ EN 16931 business rules (BR-02 to BR-25, BR-CO-10/13/15/16/17, VAT
  category rules) plus the French mandatory mentions: SIREN with checksum, VAT number key, due date,
  late-payment penalties, the 40 EUR recovery indemnity. Every error is explained in plain language with
  the rule that failed – not an XSD stack trace.
• 100% local. This plugin never makes a network call. Your invoices, your customer names and your
  revenue stay on your own server. Nothing to sign up for, no per-invoice fee, no data processor to add
  to your privacy policy.
• It fits the plugins you already run. If PDF Invoices & Packing Slips already numbered the order,
  the same number is reused – one sale, one invoice number. HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage)

You stay in control of sending

This plugin generates and validates. It does not transmit anything to a PDP, to Peppol or to Chorus Pro.
You download the file and send it the way you already do – by email, by portal upload, or to your
accountant. That is a deliberate choice: no variable cost for you, no third party in the middle of your
invoicing.

limit, no feature waiting to be unlocked. The plugin behaves exactly the same whether or not you ever
pay us anything.

A separate paid version exists

For shops that invoice public bodies or large buyers, or send a whole month to their accountant, we sell
a separate Pro version (EN 16931 profile, batch export of a period as ZIP + CSV, exportable validation
report). Its code is not part of this package and is not downloaded by this plugin: it is a distinct
product, sold on https://wc-facturx.novair.app (1 site €79, 5 sites €149, 25 sites €299 per year,
excl. VAT, refunded within 14 days).

Factur-X is a standard published by FNFE-MPE, ZUGFeRD is a standard published by FeRD, and
WooCommerce is a trademark of Automattic Inc. Novair E-Invoice Generator is an independent plugin made by Novair.
It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them: these names only describe the file
format the plugin produces and the platform it works with.

External services

Invoices never leave your server: generating and validating them makes no network request, and nothing
about your orders, your customers or your revenue is sent anywhere.

The package hosted on wordpress.org contains no licence code and no commercial SDK, and makes no
external connection at all.

Pro is a separate plugin, downloaded from https://wc-facturx.novair.app/. That separate plugin, and the
builds distributed from our own site, embed the Freemius SDK (Freemius, Inc.), the reseller for Pro
purchases. After activation it asks whether you want to connect to Freemius; you can skip, and every free
feature keeps working. If you connect or buy Pro, the SDK sends to api.freemius.com your
name and e-mail address, your site URL and language, your WordPress and PHP versions, the state of the
plugin (active, deactivated, uninstalled) and, if you leave that option on, the list of your plugins and
themes, so that the licence and the Pro updates can be managed. Freemius is the reseller for

Bundled libraries

This package ships no third-party library: everything under includes/, assets/ and languages/ is
original Novair code under GPLv2 or later. The builds distributed from https://wc-facturx.novair.app/
also embed the Freemius WordPress SDK, released under the GNU General Public License v3, compatible
with the GPLv2 or later of this plugin, as unmodified, unminified source.

Privacy

This plugin stores your seller settings in the WordPress options table and reads WooCommerce orders when
you ask for an invoice file. It creates no additional table and sets no cookie. Orders and invoices are
never sent anywhere; the only connection, optional, is the Freemius one described under External services.
