Description
Kvickdesk connects your WordPress site to Kvickdesk – a Swedish helpdesk/ticketing service for service and repair businesses. Your customers report their issue directly on your site, and you receive the ticket neatly structured in your Kvickdesk portal, with AI-assisted initial assessment, a troubleshooting plan, time tracking and service reports.
The plugin and the service are currently in Swedish, aimed at Swedish businesses.
What you get:
- Floating support button on every page – configurable text, color and position (right/left)
- Gutenberg block “Kvickdesk-knapp” – place the button exactly where you want it, with full WordPress design controls (color, typography, padding, border, shadow)
- Shortcode
[kvickdesk]for classic editors and widgets – e.g.[kvickdesk text="Report an issue"] - Automatic brand color – the button picks up your brand color from your Kvickdesk profile, or set a custom one
- Isolated design – the form opens in a protected modal (Shadow DOM + iframe) that neither affects nor is affected by your theme
The form and the ticket workflow are powered by the Kvickdesk platform. A Kvickdesk account is required (14-day free trial, then a subscription).
External services
This plugin is a client for Kvickdesk, a SaaS helpdesk service operated by BohlinTech, a registered Swedish sole proprietorship (enskild firma). The plugin requires a Kvickdesk account to be useful.
- The plugin loads the widget script from
app.kvickdesk.se(our own domain) on the public pages of your site, but only after you have entered your company ID on the settings page. The script request itself only exposes standard technical data (such as the visitor’s IP address) to our servers, like any script load. - When a visitor opens the support form and submits a ticket, the data the visitor entered (name, email, optional phone number, and the problem description) is sent to Kvickdesk’s EU-hosted backend, in order to create the support ticket for the business the site belongs to.
- No data is sent before the visitor actively submits the form. The plugin does not track visitors and sets no cookies.

Installation
- Install and activate the plugin.
- Go to Settings Kvickdesk.
- Enter your Company ID (your slug, e.g.
yourcompany– found in the Kvickdesk portal under Integrations) and save. - Done! The floating button is shown on all pages. If you prefer to place the button yourself, use the Kvickdesk-knapp block or the
[kvickdesk]shortcode.

Do I need a Kvickdesk account?

Yes. The plugin is a connector for the Kvickdesk service. You register your business at kvickdesk.se (a 14-day trial is included).

Yes. Untick “Show the button” under Settings Kvickdesk. The block and the shortcode work independently of the floating button.

Yes, in two ways: it automatically picks up your brand color from Kvickdesk, or you choose a custom color in the settings. The Gutenberg block additionally has the full WordPress design controls (color, typography, padding, border, shadow).

Does the plugin affect my site’s design or performance?

No. The widget loads as a small script in the footer and renders inside an isolated Shadow DOM. The form opens in an iframe only when the visitor clicks the button.

Where do the tickets end up?

In your Kvickdesk portal (app.kvickdesk.se), where you manage tickets, time, materials and service reports. The customer receives automatic email confirmations and a personal ticket page.

Is the plugin available in English?

The settings page and the customer-facing form are currently in Swedish, as the service targets Swedish businesses. Translations may be added via translate.wordpress.org.
