Description
Kiahelps KIATOKEN Payments connects a WordPress website to the KIATOKEN merchant payment service hosted at https://pay.kiahelps.com.
The plugin can create secure KIATOKEN payment requests from a shortcode or Elementor widget, calculate an estimated KIA amount, redirect customers to the hosted payment page, and let site administrators review payment status from WordPress.
Payment requests can include tax, shipping charges, other fees with an optional description, and optional payer information. These amounts are included in the payment total calculated by the Kiahelps merchant payment service.
The integration is non-custodial. The plugin does not hold cryptocurrency or private keys. Payments are completed through the hosted payment service and the customer’s wallet, with settlement to the merchant wallet configured for the merchant account.
A merchant account and Developer API key from https://pay.kiahelps.com are required for live payment creation.
Shortcodes:
[kia_pay]– Displays the payment request form.[kia_pay_dashboard]– Displays the private business payment dashboard.[kia_pay_portal]– Displays the payment form and business dashboard together.
If Elementor is installed, the plugin also registers a Kiahelps KIATOKEN Payments widget.
This plugin is provided by Kiahelps/KIATOKEN and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Kia Corporation or its KIA PAY service.
External Service
This plugin relies on the Kiahelps merchant payment service at https://pay.kiahelps.com to provide its payment functionality.
The service is contacted when:
- A customer or site user requests a live KIA estimate.
- A payment request is created.
- A stored payment record is refreshed or synchronized.
- A customer is redirected to the hosted payment page.
Depending on which fields are entered, data sent to the service may include the payment amount, currency, merchant reference, tax information, shipping amount, other fees amount, other fees description, merchant public wallet address, customer name, customer email, customer phone, customer address, customer ID type or ID number, and customer note. Optional customer information and optional payment-charge information are sent only when they are entered into the payment form.
The merchant’s Developer API key is sent server-to-server in the Authorization header for authenticated API requests. The plugin stores that key in WordPress options and does not intentionally expose it in the public browser interface.
