ENS Virtual Trial Room for WooCommerce provides a seamless virtual try-on experience for online fashion stores. Customers can upload their photo and preview how selected apparel looks on them in real time using OpenAI’s image generation technology.
External Services
This plugin connects to external third-party API services to process virtual try-on images:
- Service Name: OpenAI Image API (
https://api.openai.com/v1/images/edits) - Service Provider: OpenAI, LLC
- Purpose: Generates realistic garment composite try-on images from store products and customer-uploaded photos.
- Data Sent: Customer-uploaded photo and product image byte streams, prompt text, and the store owner’s configured API key. No personally identifiable customer data (name, email, or IP address) is sent.
- When Sent: Only triggered when a customer explicitly clicks the “Try It On Me!” action inside the modal.

Installation
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/ens-virtual-trial-room-for-woocommercedirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
- Navigate to Settings -> Virtual Trial Room in your WordPress admin.
- Enter your OpenAI API key and configure user limits.
