What can you edit with Editly Free?

Editly Free works with compatible text controls from native Elementor and Elementor Pro widgets. Depending on the widget, editors can update content such as:

• Headings and paragraphs
• Button and link labels
• Other supported textual content

Controls that cannot be updated safely are left unchanged. Editors do not need to open the Elementor builder for supported routine copy changes.

Keep clients away from the builder

You decide which WordPress roles can use Editly. For each selected non-administrator role, you can also decide whether it retains access to the full Elementor editor.

This creates a practical separation:

You manage the website. Your client manages the content.

Editly includes an optional text-length increase limit. It can restrict how much longer edited text may become compared with the original content, while still allowing useful changes.

Editly stores edited content and settings in your WordPress database. No external telemetry service is used by this package.
