Description
StellaCodex Post Carousel lets you select WordPress posts, arrange them visually, and display them with a shortcode.
Free features include unlimited carousels, manual post selection (search, add from a category, add by URL), drag-and-drop ordering, left/right arrow navigation, responsive card counts, and design controls (cards per view, border, corner radius, image ratio, card title and date).
Pro adds automatic sources (latest posts, a category, or a tag), autoplay (one-card and page-by-page) and continuous scrolling, auto-insert of a carousel at the end of post content (all posts or selected categories / tags), and carousel categories for organizing your carousels.
The free version is fully usable without a license and has no carousel-count limit.

FAQ
-
How do I display a carousel?
-
Create a carousel under “Post Carousels” in the WordPress dashboard, then copy its shortcode (for example
[stellacodex_carousel id="s1"]) and paste it into any post or page. -
Can I choose which posts appear?
-
Yes. In the free version you select posts manually and drag to reorder them. Pulling posts automatically from the latest posts, a category, or a tag is a Pro feature.
-
What is the difference between “Add from a category” and a Pro automatic category source?
-
“Add from a category” is a free editing shortcut: it copies the posts that are currently in that WordPress category into your manual list. A Pro automatic category source stays connected to the category and updates the carousel when posts are added later.
-
How many carousels can I create in the free version?
-
The free version lets you create an unlimited number of carousels.
-
Does it work with standard WordPress themes?
-
Yes. The carousel uses a shortcode and is designed to work with standard WordPress themes. No coding is required.
-
Can I change the heading level or hide the title?
-
Yes. The shortcode accepts optional attributes, for example
[stellacodex_carousel id="s1" tag="h3"]to set the carousel heading level, or[stellacodex_carousel id="s1" title="hide"]to hide the heading above the carousel. Card-title visibility is controlled in Settings. -
What does the Pro version add?
-
Automatic sources (latest posts, a category, or a tag), autoplay and continuous scrolling, auto-insert at the end of post content (all posts or selected categories / tags), and carousel categories for organizing carousels.
