External services

This plugin relies on external services for its core functionality (AI text generation and, optionally, Google Search Console data). No request is sent to any service without an explicit action on your part (generating ideas or an article, testing a connection, connecting your Google account).

AI provider of your choice — used to generate article ideas and article content. When you click “Generate”, the plugin sends your business description, the selected keyword, title, description, tone, length and optional internal link URLs to the provider you selected in Settings, using your own API key. Depending on your choice:

• Anthropic (Claude) — Terms of service, Privacy policy
• Google Gemini — Gemini API terms, Google privacy policy
• Mistral AI — Terms of service, Privacy policy
• OpenAI — Terms of use, Privacy policy

Google APIs (OAuth and Search Console) — optional. If you connect your Google account in PowArticle, the plugin uses Google’s OAuth service (oauth2.googleapis.com, www.googleapis.com) to authenticate you and read your e-mail address and profile name, and the Google Search Console API (searchconsole.googleapis.com) to read the search performance of your site (queries, clicks, impressions, positions). This data is used to display your performance and suggest article topics. Nothing is sent to Google until you click “Connect”. Google terms of service, Google privacy policy.

PowArticle API (api.powarticle.com) — used only if you purchase an optional Pro plan. Generation requests (business description, keyword, title, description, tone, length, internal link URLs), your site URL and your license key are sent to the PowArticle API, which generates the content with the PowArticle AI key so you don’t need your own AI account. This service is provided by PowArticle: Terms of service, Privacy policy. The free plugin never contacts this service.
