Description
Lytescope collects Linux server and WordPress metrics and exposes them through an authenticated REST API endpoint for monitoring dashboards.
The plugin creates a private server UUID and pull secret on activation. Metrics are only exposed after an administrator opts in and configures a Lytescope share code.
External Services
Lytescope connects to the Lytescope service at https://lytescope.com when an administrator saves the settings with opt-in enabled and a share code present.
The registration request sends the site URL, hostname, PHP version, plugin version, metrics endpoint URL, generated server UUID, generated pull secret, and the configured share code. This is required so the Lytescope dashboard can identify and authenticate the site before polling metrics.

The plugin does not load JavaScript, CSS, images, or fonts from third-party CDNs.
Installation
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/lytescopedirectory. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
- Open Lytescope > Settings, opt in, and enter your Lytescope share code.
