Description
MentoBlocks is a collection of custom blocks for the block editor, each built as a
self-contained, dynamic (server-rendered) block registered under its own
“MentoBlocks” category in the block inserter.
Post Grid — a dynamic grid of posts, pages, or any public post type,
with ordering, column control, four card arrangements (standard, overlay,
side-by-side, and reverse), independent hover effects, full color and
spacing controls, and a Load More button that fetches additional posts
from the REST API without a page reload.
Hero Slider — a lightweight, dependency-free slider. Choose plain
images, manually authored slides with a heading/text/button, or slides
generated automatically from your posts. Fade or slide transitions,
autoplay with pause-on-hover/focus, swipe support, keyboard navigation,
and responsive height per breakpoint.
This plugin reads only your local WordPress database (via WP_Query and
the REST API) to build its blocks. It makes no external requests, does
not phone home, and includes no tracking or upsells.
Source Code
The build/ directory contains compiled, minified JavaScript and CSS
produced by the @wordpress/scripts build tool. The original,
human-readable source for every block is included in this plugin’s
src/ directory — nothing is bundled without its source alongside it.
To regenerate the compiled assets from source:
npm install(requires Node.js; installs@wordpress/scripts,
listed as a devDependency inpackage.json)npm run build
This runs the standard @wordpress/scripts build command and writes
fresh output to build/.
