EGS Order Sequence Studio gives WooCommerce stores a focused way to display readable order references while preserving WordPress and WooCommerce’s original internal order IDs.
Free features:
- Sequential numbers for new WooCommerce orders.
- Optional prefix and suffix.
- Configurable zero padding from 1 to 12 digits.
- Optional year, year/month, or full-date token.
- Custom separator between order-number parts.
- Live order-number preview in the settings screen.

- Explicit reset control with a duplicate-number warning.
- Batch assignment for older orders, 100 at a time.
- HPOS compatibility declaration.
- No tracking, external API requests, remote assets, or premium code.
The plugin changes only the order reference displayed through WooCommerce. It does not replace or rewrite the underlying database order ID.

An optional separately installed Pro edition is available from https://plugins.modulebazaar.com/product/woocommerce-order-sequence/. The free plugin does not contain or remotely load premium executable code.

Installation
- Install and activate WooCommerce.
- Upload the plugin ZIP through Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin.
- Activate EGS Order Sequence Studio for WooCommerce.
- Open WooCommerce > Order Sequence Studio.
- Choose your format and save the settings.

Does this change WooCommerce order IDs?

No. It stores and displays a separate readable order reference. The original internal order ID remains unchanged.

Can I number existing orders?

Yes. Use the Existing Orders tool. It processes up to 100 orders without a sequence number per run.

What happens when I reset the sequence?

The next eligible order starts from the chosen starting number. A reset can create duplicate visible references if the new range overlaps existing values, so use it carefully.

Does the plugin contact any external service?

No. It does not send data externally and does not load remote JavaScript, CSS, fonts, images, or tracking code.

Does it work with HPOS?

The plugin uses WooCommerce order APIs and declares compatibility with High-Performance Order Storage.
