Description
InventoryBridge connects your WooCommerce store to Zoho Inventory so you can easily send orders and refunds to your accounting software. With a single click from the WooCommerce order screen, InventoryBridge creates a confirmed sales order in Zoho (which commits the stock), creates or matches the customer contact, and applies the right tax. It also creates Zoho credit notes from WooCommerce refunds.
AutoSyncPress and InventoryBridge are not affiliated with Zoho Corporation. Zoho and Zoho Inventory are trademarks of Zoho Corporation.
If you currently copy WooCommerce orders into Zoho Inventory by hand, this plugin removes that job entirely.
Built for real stores: every sync runs in the background (never slows checkout), retries on failure, and is fully logged so you can always see what happened and why.
Why InventoryBridge
Stock that accounts for committed units. Zoho reports three different quantities per item. Most integrations push “stock on hand”, which still counts units already promised to a confirmed sales order — so your storefront sells them twice. InventoryBridge uses available stock by default, and the Health screen shows all three figures side by side so you can see exactly why WooCommerce says 5 while Zoho’s item page says 8.
It tells you what will break before you turn it on. Mismatched SKUs are the single most common reason a Zoho integration silently fails. The Pre-flight screen lists every product that will not match, says why — no SKU, not in Zoho, duplicated in Zoho, stock not managed — and what to do about each one.
A safety buffer for multi-channel sellers. If the same Zoho stock also feeds Amazon, eBay or a physical shop, hold back a number or percentage of units so two channels cannot both sell the last one.
It notices when someone edits stock by hand. Zoho stays the source of truth, but instead of a staff member’s correction vanishing without trace, you get a log entry and a Health warning naming the product and both figures.
It warns before an order oversells. If a WooCommerce order asks for more units than Zoho can actually ship, the order is flagged on the order screen and in the log — the sale still reaches Zoho rather than being silently refused, because the customer has already paid.
Your credentials never leave your site. InventoryBridge talks directly from your server to your own Zoho Inventory organization, using a Zoho application you create and own. Nothing is proxied through our servers, and the plugin contains no telemetry, no analytics and no phone-home of any kind.
GST that is actually correct, not approximated. Place of supply is derived from the billing state, then CGST/SGST or IGST is chosen per order. Union territories, reverse charge, and the difference between nil-rated, exempt and zero-rated supplies are all handled distinctly. HSN/SAC codes ride along on every line.
It adapts to your Zoho plan’s API limits. InventoryBridge knows what each Zoho Inventory plan allows and paces itself inside that budget, so it stays fast on higher plans and stays safe — never rate-limited, never suspended — on the free one.
Nothing is ever silently lost. Every sync runs through a queue with de-duplication, automatic retries with backoff, and permanent-versus-temporary error classification. A reconciliation pass then sweeps for anything a missed webhook or failed job left behind and re-queues it.
It runs alongside BooksBridge. Zoho’s own WooCommerce integration connects to Zoho Books or Zoho Inventory — not both at once. InventoryBridge and BooksBridge are separate plugins with separate connections, so you can run accounting and inventory together without either one double-processing the same order.

External services
This plugin connects to the Zoho Inventory API to create and read your inventory records. This connection is essential to the plugin’s purpose and is made only to the Zoho organization you authorize.
- Service: Zoho Inventory API — the regional endpoint you select (for example
https://www.zohoapis.in/inventory/v1) and the matching Zoho accounts domain for authentication. - When it is used: when you authorize the connection, and thereafter whenever an order, product, customer or stock level is synced.
- What is sent: the order, customer, product and tax data required to create the corresponding Zoho Inventory records — for example customer name, billing address, email, order line items, prices and tax amounts — together with your OAuth access token.
- Terms of service: https://www.zoho.com/terms.html
- Privacy policy: https://www.zoho.com/privacy.html
The plugin sends no data to the plugin author. There is no telemetry, no analytics and no usage tracking.

FAQ
-
How do I connect WooCommerce to Zoho Inventory?
-
Install the plugin, then open InventoryBridge Setup. The wizard walks you through choosing your Zoho region, creating a Server-based application in the Zoho API Console (with the exact redirect URI to copy), pasting your Client ID and Secret, authorizing, picking your organization and choosing a warehouse. Most stores are connected in about ten minutes.
-
Do I need to create a Zoho API application myself?
-
Yes, and the setup wizard shows you exactly how, step by step, with a direct link to the correct regional API console. Using your own Zoho application means your credentials never pass through anyone else’s server.
-
Does it work with the free Zoho Inventory plan?
-
Yes. The free Zoho plan allows API access, and InventoryBridge works within Zoho’s own API limits automatically. If your store’s volume ever outgrows the free Zoho plan, that is a Zoho plan limit rather than an InventoryBridge one.
-
Will it sync my existing WooCommerce orders?
-
Yes, and you choose which. Orders are sent when you send them: open an order and use the InventoryBridge box, or select several on the orders list and use the bulk action. Nothing is sent to Zoho until you ask for it, so an order placed before you installed the plugin is sent exactly the same way as one placed today.
-
Which stock figure does it use, and can I change it?
-
Available stock, by default — the quantity that already accounts for units committed to confirmed sales orders. You can switch to stock-on-hand or actual-available-stock in Settings if your workflow needs it; the Health screen shows all three side by side so you can see exactly what changed.
-
What happens if a WooCommerce order asks for more stock than Zoho has?
-
The order still reaches Zoho — refusing to create it would hide the sale from your books entirely, which is worse than an order the warehouse has to chase. Instead it is flagged on the order screen and in the sync log with the shortfall.
-
What if someone edits a WooCommerce stock level by hand?
-
Zoho stays the configured source of truth, so the next scheduled pull still overwrites the level. But InventoryBridge notices the edit first and logs it, with both figures, so the correction is not lost without a trace — make the correction in Zoho instead and it will hold.
-
Does it handle Indian GST, HSN codes and place of supply?
-
Yes. InventoryBridge derives place of supply from the billing state, chooses CGST/SGST or IGST correctly for intra- and inter-state sales, supports HSN/SAC codes on products, and stores a GSTIN per customer.
-
Does it work with multiple currencies?
-
Yes. Orders in a foreign currency are sent to Zoho Inventory with the matching currency code, provided that currency is enabled in your Zoho organization.
-
What happens if a sync fails?
-
Nothing is lost. Every sync runs through a background queue with automatic retries and backoff. Failures are recorded in the sync log with the exact API response, and you can retry any record with one click.
-
Will it slow down my store or checkout?
-
No. All syncing happens in the background through WooCommerce’s Action Scheduler, so nothing is added to the checkout request your customer waits on.
-
Is real-time sync supported?
-
Stock and orders sync on a short interval (and instantly via the manual button). True real-time webhooks from Zoho require a paid Zoho plan; InventoryBridge uses reliable scheduled polling that works on every plan.
-
Which countries are supported?
-
All Zoho Inventory regions. India gets full GST handling (GSTIN, HSN, place of supply); other regions use VAT / sales-tax fields automatically.
-
Can I run this alongside BooksBridge for accounting?
-
Yes. They are separate plugins with separate Zoho connections, separate database tables and separate settings — nothing is shared between them, so running both does not cause double-processing of the same order.
-
Does it send my data anywhere except Zoho?
-
No. InventoryBridge talks only to your own Zoho Inventory organization using your credentials. It does not phone home. See the “External services” section above for exactly what is shared with Zoho.
-
Where do I get support?

Support is on the WordPress.org support forum for this plugin. You can also email support@autosyncpress.com.
