Description
This plugin is for websites operating in the Czech Republic. The documents
it produces are written in Czech and based on Czech and EU law. If your site
does not operate under Czech law, this plugin will not be useful to you.
Pravoid turns the legal documents you generated at Pravoid.com
into WordPress pages. You choose a document, the plugin creates a draft page
with its content, and you publish it yourself when you are happy with how it
looks in your theme.
Three documents are supported:
- Zásady ochrany osobních údajů (privacy policy, GDPR)
- Zásady používání souborů cookies (cookie policy)
- Obchodní podmínky (terms and conditions)
The documents are generated on Pravoid.com against the current wording of Czech
legislation, taken from the official REST API of e-Sbírka, the legislation
portal of the Czech Ministry of the Interior.
How it works
- Create your documents at Pravoid.com. The plugin pre-fills the form with your
site name, URL and, if WooCommerce is active, your store address. - Pay for the documents you want.
- You receive an access key by e-mail.
- Paste the key into Settings Pravoid.
- Your paid documents appear as a list. Create a page from any of them.
- Review the draft and publish it yourself.
What is free and what is not
The plugin is free and always will be. Generating a preview at Pravoid.com is
also free. Unlocking the full text of a document is a one-off paid purchase made
on Pravoid.com — the plugin never asks for payment and does not process any.
Pages are created as drafts
The plugin never publishes anything on your behalf. Every page it creates is a
draft, so you can see how the document looks in your own theme before it goes
live. Publishing is your decision, made in WordPress like with any other page.
Data sent to an external service
This plugin communicates with Pravoid.com, a service operated by Bc. Filip
Krechler (IČO 23683368), Radkovská 594, 588 56 Telč, Czech Republic.
When you save or verify an access key, the key is sent to
https://pravoid.com/api/plugin/documents so the service can return the list of
documents that belong to it.
When you create or update a page, the document identifier is sent to
https://pravoid.com/api/plugin/document/{id} and the document content is
returned.
When you click the button to create documents, your browser opens
Pravoid.com with your site name, site URL and — if WooCommerce is active — your
store address passed in the query string, so the form arrives pre-filled. No
request is made by the plugin itself and no e-mail address is ever passed this
way.
Nothing else is transmitted. The plugin sends no analytics, no telemetry and no
personal data of your site visitors.

Attribution in the document text
Documents produced by Pravoid.com end with a line crediting the service, with a
link to pravoid.com. This line is part of the document content returned by the
service — the plugin inserts the document as received and does not add anything
to it. It will appear on any page created from that document.

starting point, not legal advice. For questions specific to your business,
consult a qualified lawyer. Neither the plugin nor Pravoid.com guarantees the
legal completeness or correctness of a generated document for any particular
situation.
No plugin and no service can make a website legally compliant. Pravoid helps you
produce the documents your site needs; whether your site meets its legal
obligations remains the responsibility of the site operator.

- Install and activate the plugin.
- Go to Settings Pravoid.
- If you do not have documents yet, use the button to create them at Pravoid.com. If you already bought documents, paste the access key you received by e-mail.
- Create a page from any document in the list and publish it when you are ready.

Do I need an account?

No. Pravoid has no user accounts. The access key is tied to the e-mail address
you used when generating your documents. -
Where do I get the access key?

It arrives by e-mail after you pay for your documents. It starts with
pvd_and
is shown only once, so keep it. If you lose it, request a new one at
Pravoid.com — issuing a new key invalidates the previous one. -
Can I use one key on several websites?

Yes. The key belongs to your e-mail address, not to a website. All documents
generated under that address are available on every site where the key is
installed. This is intended for agencies managing several client sites. -
Can the plugin generate documents directly in WordPress?

No. Documents are generated at Pravoid.com, where you fill in details about
your business and the document is produced against the current wording of
Czech legislation from e-Sbírka. The plugin delivers the finished documents
to your site as pages. -
Do documents update automatically when the law changes?

No. Neither the plugin nor Pravoid ever silently changes legal text on your
site. The Pravoid Guard service monitors Czech legislation and notifies you
by e-mail when a relevant law changes — updating a document is always your
deliberate decision. -
Will the plugin publish pages automatically?

No. Pages are always created as drafts and you publish them yourself.

What happens if I edit the page text and then click Update?

Your edits are overwritten with the current document from Pravoid.com. The
publication status is preserved — a published page stays published. -
Does the plugin keep my documents after I disconnect?

Removing the key deletes it from your site only. Pages already created stay
where they are, and your documents remain available at Pravoid.com. -
Is the plugin available in English?

The interface is Czech, because the documents and the legislation behind them
are Czech. An English interface would not make the documents usable outside the
Czech Republic.
