Does this replace the default WooCommerce review system?

No. RateMate enhances and extends the WooCommerce review system — it does not replace it. All existing reviews are preserved.

Will review request emails be sent for old orders?

No. Emails are only queued for orders that transition to “Completed” after the plugin is activated.

Can customers upload multiple photos?

Yes. You can configure the maximum number of uploads (1–20) and maximum file size in RateMate Settings Photo Reviews.

Does the plugin work with variable products?

Yes. The plugin is fully compatible with WooCommerce variable products.

Where are uploaded photos stored?

Photos and videos are stored in your WordPress Media Library — the same place as all other media uploads. They are linked to the specific product post.
