Description
RatingWall Testimonials connects your RatingWall account to WordPress, so the Wall of Love you’ve already built — text, voice, and video testimonials, star ratings, and all — shows up on your site in a couple of clicks. No embed snippet to copy, no code to paste.
A full walkthrough of the RatingWall platform — collecting testimonials, reviewing and approving them, building a wall, and publishing it (including to WordPress).
RatingWall itself is where the testimonials come from. Send a request over WhatsApp, get a reply, done — no forms for your customers to fill out, along with other collection methods. Voice notes are transcribed automatically by AI, video replies get a proper thumbnail and player, and every testimonial can be translated into another language on demand, right on the page. This plugin’s only job is to take the Wall of Love you’ve built there and place it on your WordPress site.
Real, unedited customer testimonials are one of the most effective ways to build trust with someone visiting your site for the first time — a Wall of Love does that automatically, without you managing it by hand every time a new one comes in.
Features
- Connect with a single click — no API keys to generate or paste, just log in and approve the connection.
- Live preview before you publish — browse your connected walls and see exactly how one will look before it goes live.
- A dedicated Gutenberg block (“RatingWall — Wall of Love”) with a wall picker right in the block sidebar.
[ratingwall_wall id="123"]shortcode for the classic editor, widgets, or theme templates.- Text, voice, and video testimonials, rendered exactly as they appear on RatingWall — star ratings, audio playback, video thumbnails, and all.
- On-demand translation — visitors can translate any testimonial into their own language with one click.
- Works with WooCommerce today for store-wide walls; product-linked reviews are a planned future release, not built into this version.
Benefits
- No forms, no manual entry — testimonials arrive over WhatsApp and other channels, get transcribed and organized on RatingWall, and simply appear on your site.
- Real social proof — every testimonial on the wall is a real customer reply, not a manually typed quote.
- Nothing to maintain — add a new testimonial on RatingWall and it shows up on your WordPress site automatically, with no re-publishing.
- Keeps your site fast — the plugin displays a wall your RatingWall account has already built; it doesn’t add heavy scripts or slow down your page.
- Speaks your visitors’ language — the on-demand translate option means one wall works for visitors in different languages.
Why do I need this?
Show, don’t tell
Anyone can claim their product or service is great. A Wall of Love shows visitors real people saying so, in their own words — including voice and video, which are harder to fake than text.
Save time
Once you’ve connected your account, new testimonials collected on RatingWall show up on your WordPress site with no extra work — no re-pasting an embed code, no manual updates.
Fits how you already build pages
The Gutenberg block sits in your normal editor with a live preview, and the shortcode works anywhere shortcodes do — no separate app or dashboard to learn just to place a wall.
Nothing extra to pay for the plugin itself
This plugin is free. All you need is a RatingWall account — a free plan is available, and you can upgrade later on RatingWall if you need more collection volume or AI features.
What can it do?
- Connect one WordPress site to one RatingWall account, with a clear one-click approval flow.
- Browse every Wall of Love on your account and preview it before placing it.
- Place a wall visually with the Gutenberg block, or anywhere else with a shortcode.
- Display text, voice, and video testimonials with working audio/video playback.
- Let visitors translate a testimonial into their own language on demand.
- Disconnect at any time from the RatingWall admin screen in WordPress.
What you need:
A free or paid RatingWall account with at least one Wall of Love already built. Don’t have one yet? The plugin’s Connect screen links straight to sign-up.
One account, one site. A RatingWall account connects to exactly one WordPress site at a time, by design — this keeps the connection simple and secure. Moving to a different site (e.g. staging to production) requires a quick check with RatingWall support first.

Privacy notice
This plugin sends your site’s URL to RatingWall’s servers when you connect your account, and communicates with the RatingWall API (ratingwall.com) to list and display your walls. See RatingWall’s Privacy Policy for details on what RatingWall stores. No visitor data from your WordPress site is sent to RatingWall by this plugin — it only reads testimonial content you’ve already collected on RatingWall.

FAQ
-
Do I need a RatingWall account?
-
Yes. This plugin connects to your existing (or new, free) RatingWall account — it doesn’t collect or store testimonials on its own.
-
Does this plugin collect testimonials over WhatsApp?
-
Not directly inside WordPress — sending requests and collecting replies over WhatsApp happens on RatingWall itself (along with other collection methods). This plugin’s job is just to display the finished Wall of Love on your WordPress site once you’ve built it.
-
Can I connect more than one WordPress site to the same RatingWall account?
-
Not directly — a RatingWall account connects to exactly one WordPress site at a time. If you need to move the connection to a different site (for example, going from a staging site to your live domain), contact RatingWall support.
-
Does this work with WooCommerce?
-
Yes, a WooCommerce store can use this plugin the same way as any other WordPress site today. Product-specific review linking is planned for a future release and isn’t in this version.
-
What happens if I deactivate the plugin?
-
Your connection stays intact — deactivating (as opposed to deleting) the plugin doesn’t disconnect your account. Reactivating picks up right where you left off.
