Description
Bookingvue gives MotoPress Hotel Booking a fresh, Airbnb-style admin overview of your bookings. It reads your reservations through the official MotoPress REST API and presents them in a clean, filterable interface — a much nicer replacement for the default bookings screen.
Bookingvue is strictly read-only: it never creates, changes or deletes anything in MotoPress.
Booking list
- A polished booking list with cards, showing guest, contact details, dates, accommodation, guests, price and payment status.
- Fast search by guest name, email address or booking number.
- Filters by booking status, accommodation type and date range.
- Sorting by check-in, booking date, price or status.
- A detail view with every field the MotoPress API returns for a booking: guest and contact details, stay details per unit, price breakdown, services, fees, discounts, payments, notes and iCal metadata.
- Clear status colors using the real MotoPress statuses (confirmed, pending, cancelled, abandoned), plus a payment status derived from the booking’s payments.
Month calendar
- A month calendar per accommodation, showing your own bookings, availability blocks and a today indicator.
- Accommodation thumbnails and a month picker to jump to any month.
- Bookings imported from other platforms (iCal, for example Airbnb or Booking.com) are recognised and labelled as external.
Language
- The interface follows the WordPress site language and each user’s own profile language, with right-to-left support.
Requirements
Bookingvue is an add-on for MotoPress Hotel Booking and requires that plugin (free or paid) to be installed and active. You create a MotoPress API key with Read permission and enter it once in the settings.
Bookingvue Premium
Bookingvue Premium is a separate, paid plugin that is not hosted here. It adds an all-accommodations timeline, drag-and-drop ordering of accommodations, configurable calendar colors and a choice of the fields shown on each booking card. Bookingvue works fully without it — there is no license key, no account and no trial period.

Installation
- Make sure MotoPress Hotel Booking is installed and active.
- Upload Bookingvue through Plugins Add New Upload, or install it from the plugin directory.
- Activate the plugin.
- Open Booking Calendar in the admin menu.
- Under Booking Calendar Settings, create a MotoPress API key (Accommodation Settings Advanced Add key, with Read permission) and enter the consumer key and secret.

Does it change or delete my bookings?

No. Bookingvue is strictly read-only; it only reads bookings through the MotoPress REST API and never modifies them.

Does it require MotoPress Hotel Booking?

Yes. Bookingvue reads its data from MotoPress Hotel Booking and does nothing without it.

Does it send any data to an external server?

No. Bookingvue makes no outbound connections at all. It only talks to the MotoPress REST API on your own site, and all scripts and styles are bundled with the plugin.

Why does it ask for a consumer key and secret?

Those are the credentials of the MotoPress REST API on your own site. They stay on your server, are validated against the MotoPress API keys of this installation, and are never sent anywhere else.

Who can see the dashboard?

Anyone who may read private MotoPress bookings — administrators and the MotoPress “Hotel Manager” role by default. The required capability can be changed with a filter.

Why do large sites load slowly the first time?

Bookings are fetched from the MotoPress API in pages of 100 and then cached. Both the cache lifetime and a safety cap on the number of bookings can be set on the settings page.
