Description
Turn WooCommerce orders into Moneybird contacts and sales invoices through
Flowwise. The guided connection sends you directly from WordPress to the
matching WooCommerce-to-Moneybird setup, with WooCommerce already selected.
Supported workflows
Depending on the sync you configure in Flowwise, supported workflows include:
- WooCommerce customers to Moneybird contacts.
- WooCommerce orders to Moneybird sales invoices.
- Payment registration for paid WooCommerce orders.
- WooCommerce refunds to Moneybird credit notes.
- Safe retries and duplicate protection for processed orders.
How the connection works
- Start the connection from WooCommerce > Moneybird Sync.
- Sign in to Flowwise and return to WordPress.
- Confirm the WooCommerce access explicitly.
- Select your Moneybird administration through secure OAuth in Flowwise.
- Configure when invoices, payments and credit notes should be created.
The synchronization runs in Flowwise. The WordPress plugin provides the secure
WooCommerce connection, connection status and direct onboarding into the
matching accounting setup. It does not store the WooCommerce consumer secret
after the signed handoff.
Shared WooCommerce access
Compatible Newcraft plugins share one WooCommerce REST API key. Disconnecting
this plugin does not revoke that key while another compatible Newcraft plugin
still uses it. The key is revoked when the final owner disconnects or is
uninstalled.
A Flowwise account is required. Open the service at
app.flowwise.dev.
This plugin is developed by Newcraft and connects to the Flowwise service. It
is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Moneybird, WooCommerce or
Automattic.
External services
This plugin connects to Flowwise, a service operated by Newcraft, at
https://app.flowwise.dev/.
When an administrator starts the connection, the plugin redirects to Flowwise
and includes the WooCommerce store URL, WordPress admin return URL, WordPress
callback URL, plugin identifier and WooCommerce to Moneybird recipe identifier.
After the administrator confirms, the plugin sends an HTTPS POST containing the
signed Flowwise token, store URL and name, WordPress site and admin URLs, plugin
and WooCommerce versions and either:
- a newly generated WooCommerce consumer key, consumer secret and key id; or
- an existing Flowwise connection id and disconnect proof when another
compatible Newcraft plugin already connected this store.
Flowwise uses this data to connect the WooCommerce provider account, create or
reuse the WooCommerce to Moneybird setup and validate the WooCommerce API
connection. Flowwise processes WooCommerce orders, customer details, refunds
and the resulting Moneybird records only for the syncs configured by the
merchant.
When the last compatible Newcraft plugin disconnects or is uninstalled, the
plugin sends the Flowwise connection id, disconnect proof, event type, store
URL, WooCommerce key id, plugin details and WordPress URLs to Flowwise. It then
revokes the generated WooCommerce REST key when possible. If another compatible
plugin still uses the shared connection, the key remains active.

Privacy
The plugin does not set storefront cookies and does not load third-party scripts
on storefront or WordPress admin pages. Connection actions send data only to
Flowwise as described in External services.

Installation
- Upload the plugin folder to
wp-content/plugins/newcraft-moneybird-sync-for-woocommerce, or install it from WordPress.org after publication. - Activate WooCommerce.
- Activate “Newcraft Moneybird Sync for WooCommerce”.
- Open WooCommerce > Moneybird Sync.
- Click “Koppel WooCommerce met Moneybird”.
- Sign in to Flowwise or create an account with your email address.
- Confirm the connection in WordPress.
- Select or add the Moneybird administration in the Flowwise setup.

Do I need a Flowwise account?

Yes. Flowwise runs the synchronization, retries, logging and accounting
settings. The plugin provides the secure WooCommerce connection and onboarding. -
Does the plugin connect directly to Moneybird?

No. The plugin connects WooCommerce to Flowwise. You select or add your
Moneybird administration in the Flowwise setup that opens immediately after
the WordPress confirmation. -
What WooCommerce permissions are created?

After explicit administrator confirmation, the plugin creates one WooCommerce
REST API key with read/write access. Flowwise uses it for supported order,
customer, refund and synchronization workflows. -
Is the WooCommerce consumer secret stored in WordPress?

No. A newly generated secret is sent once to Flowwise through the signed HTTPS
handoff. WordPress stores only connection metadata, a disconnect proof and the
key id needed for later revocation. -
Can I also use the Newcraft bol.com plugin?

Yes. Compatible Newcraft companion plugins share one WooCommerce REST key and
track which plugins still use it. Removing one plugin does not revoke the key
while another registered owner remains. -
What happens when I uninstall the plugin?

This plugin removes its local owner registration and activity log. When it is
the last owner, it notifies Flowwise and revokes the generated WooCommerce key
when possible. Existing Flowwise sync records are not automatically deleted.
